New thread as the last one is getting very full.

I hope Ed stays - his timing is very good. Daisy seems nice, but a bit boring, although Daisy Daisy is very nice for a Viennese.

No they've never released the voting figures. The ITV shows release them at the end of the series but the BBC don't, and have defended FOI Act applications to the hilt.

MrsJamin · 12/11/2016 20:46

I think it will be Louise and daisy in the bottom two, if that's possible with Louise being second in the judges leaderboard. I can't see people bothering to vote for her. I think Daisy will defo go. I loved Greg, Rob and Ed this week! Greg has improved so so much I'd hate to see him go.

RTKangaMummy · 12/11/2016 20:54

I want ROB RINDER & ED BALLS in the final

They both make me smile so much

SmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

I also like GREG & ORE

SmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

Really don't like looking at AJ - to me he is smarmy and slimy

Danny & Louise just are boring and they both think they are the bees knees and that they both think they should win

MrsJamin · 12/11/2016 21:04

Danny is Smuggy McSmugFace, he was so expecting 40 for that dance. F off back to the west end, Danny!

QueenMortificado · 12/11/2016 21:09

MrsJ that's a bit harsh, it was a brilliant dance!

pinkteddy · 12/11/2016 21:10

Loved Ed tonight - brilliant Grin
Also loved Louise and Danny - shocked so many of you not rating Louise - she's really come out of herself IMO. Loved that routine to Big Spender tonight.

Predict Daisy in dance off with either Greg, Claudia or Ore.

NoahVale · 12/11/2016 21:21

the west end Hmm
what do you mean?

SoupDragon · 12/11/2016 21:23

it was a brilliant dance!

unsurprisingly, given his experience.

JennyHolzersGhost · 12/11/2016 21:27

This presumably :

"He trained at the Arts Educational Schools in London and graduated in 2009, before getting a part in the West End musical Wicked. He appeared in the West End musical Wicked for two years from May 2009 and left to join Hollyoaks in February 2011."

From his Wikipedia page.

iwanttobemissmarple · 12/11/2016 21:27

I want Ed - he's fantastic.

I loathe Danny & & can barely tolerate Louise - they are too experienced to go on this. It's meant to be for amateurs ffs!

QueenMortificado · 12/11/2016 21:33

It's meant to be for amateurs ffs!

It's meant to be for amateur ballroom and Latin dancers, but given they have had people with dance experience from season 1 I'm not sure why it's peddled that it's "meant" to be inexperienced dancers

Toooldtobearsed · 12/11/2016 21:34

Apparantly his father is very ill, hence him being upset.

Rather than blub on screen, he 'pushed' Oti away.

His AT was fabulous. I don't care if he has dance experience, i love the mix of brilliant, improving every week and hopeless cases 😊

SailingThroughTime · 12/11/2016 21:35

I could hardly watch Ed Balls at the start. I'm amazed at how much he's improved from what was a standing start. I'm much more interested in seeing Ore, Ed and Greg acquire skills than in seeing Danny 'Ringier Than a Ringy Bell' Mac strut his pre trained stuff. Wouldn't Rob Rinder have done some dance traing in stage school too?

Chis Evans' nonsense this week was really irritating too. Unsurprisingly.

MrsJayy · 12/11/2016 21:42

Oh I have just watched ED oh it was hilarious i had tears running down my face. Robert Rinders fox tront was so lovely .

pinkteddy · 12/11/2016 21:43

Agree completely toooldtobearsed

MrsJayy · 12/11/2016 21:50

Caroline had a dance degree she won so thdy dont have to be amateur . I hate Danny though yes he is good but he had danced professionally before and i cant be bothered to watch him., and yes he is smuggy mcsmug face

RTKangaMummy · 12/11/2016 21:59

Sailing Rob Rinder - I am sure he didn't go to stage school he went to Manchester Uni where he became friends with Bennedict Cumberbatch so don't think he would have studied dance even if he had studied drama but I am sure he studied Law cos he worked in London Old Bailey courts before TV work as Judge Rinder took over

SoupDragon · 12/11/2016 22:05

I think having danced professionally means you can learn routines better and already have certain movements in your repertoire. It's a huge advantage.

I think I started watching Strictly near the end of Denise Van Outen's series and it didn't bother me so much then. It has bothered me more each year and Danny really does seem to be smugger than Mr Smug from Smugsville on a particularly Smug day.

His dances are great to watch but in the same way as the pro dances are great to watch.

SoupDragon · 12/11/2016 22:07

From Bob's Wiki page He attended Queen Elizabeth's School for Boys[7] and the National Youth Theatre, though he later gave up acting because "Benedict Cumberbatch was so good".

DiegeticMuch · 12/11/2016 22:09

I'm not a Danny fan but I hope that his dad recovers quickly. Kudos to him for not milking whatever it is. Poor chap.

The VTs were much better this week. Focusing on the training sessions is definitely the way forward.

Louise and Kevin are technically good, but passion-free. He was better with Susanna.

Bountybarsyuk · 12/11/2016 22:11

I just watched Ed again, soooo funny. God we all need a laugh this week.

Chipstick10 · 12/11/2016 22:16

Yuck that's put me of Rinder if he's a friend of Cumberbatch

CongresswomanCaveMum · 12/11/2016 22:17

Benedict Cumberbatch officiated Judge Rinder's wedding, they're very close friends.

awaynboilyurheid · 12/11/2016 22:34

Don't get the Danny hate many of them have dance training when they go to stage school I loved his tango it was as Len said an angry dance, shame Craig didn't understand that.
Thought Louise was overmarked again,I would watch Danny and Oti's tango again and again but not Louise and Kevins. Love AJ and Claudia too Laughed sooo much at Ed Balls , Katya choreography is brilliant. Think Daisy or Greg might go.

ElspethFlashman · 12/11/2016 22:55

I went from open mouthed horror at Ed's dance, to roaring laughter, to begrudging respect that he didn't fuck up and actually stayed on the beat. And did proper lifts!

I mean, he really is the most flat footed man in the world, stomp stomp stomp - but I thought it was kinda amazing.
