After last week's episode I read up on her story. Her botched hanging was horrific.

Mary Ann Cotton dropped an insufficient two foot only with the noose around her neck. The hangman pressed diwn upon her shoulders fir several minutes and Mary thrashed about.

it was pretty grim but to be fare dying a long agonising death by poision would imo be worse

I don't think it was the abdomen, and pregnancy, as she went for her boobs first...

Look at her hands in the picture. They're huge.

i enjoyed it but think they needed more detail and could of got another episode out of it

Really disappointed with the programme. It lacked any depth or substance.

The death count was ridiculous with no real attempt at exploring her motives or mental state - just "let me make you a nice cup of tea" which just became comedic after a while, then they were dead then she was collecting life insurance, then move to another town, another husband, then repeat.

No real attempt at a storyline at all.
