Hello everyone, can I come back to you please? I was a regular during the madness of the first series and for sometime thereafter. Since then I've been dipping in and out and can't believe you've kept this thread going, with more people joining all the time. But for those stalwarts who've been here from day one, yes you ice,orphan,cjwoof,pix,rich,nickel,rhu,ilove and the rest, total respect! I've never lost the CJ love, he's still on my screensaver at home and at work, and it was great to see elsie back. I broke my phone and lost "private Dawes", perhaps we can get some new ones? SPO not shown any sign of returning? Anyway thanks for continuing the insanity, the photos and the info. Got somewhere to be now (obviously). Will be back later.

I can't watch episode 2 tonight, so I'll join a bit in the speculation about Elvis.

The whole story is weird. He is indeed Special Forces (there is one dream shot of Georgie and him in uniform and he has the winged dagger on his lapel = SAS). So as his future next of kin she would have been vetted and given a security clearance of some sort, so it is not the old "cannot tell her anything, because of Need To Know". I think Elvis got indeed cold feet and left it to Charles to sort it out.

On the other hand, Elvis is clearly a happy bunny in his car on the way to London, no cold feet in sight. So should we assume that he will soon receive a phonecall on his scrambled phone, ordering him to Hereford an then on to some godforsaken place in Iraqistan or Syrmalia? Then what did he do the last two years?

oh er.. and how come GL's scrubs trousers didn't fall off at the end as she went up into the helicopter seeing as they are notorious for being bad fits and she'd taken out the string at the waist....
