Rylan read a tweet from Christopher slagging off Louis. Louis laughed it off and said something witty back , which i have forgotten now! It was funny. I like Rylan on that show.

Yes, I laughed at that. Louis said first, 'who is nanfucker C Maloney', then 'oh the karaoke singer with all the make up' .

I haven't read the whole thread so sorry if it's already been mentioned, but has anyone ever wondered how it is that we get to see film of a contestant's home town, their house/place of work etc., and lo and behold they get 4 Yes's, and we get to see them registering and they get a fair bit of exposure. Call me an old cynic but this suggests to me so much of it is "staged" - they must have filmed details of these contestants beforehand.

Also there's no way the panel audition every single person - they are screened and some of the good ones get sent through, some of the awful ones (good tele) and maybe a few in-betweeners. I reckon the panel know exactly whether they're gonna be good, bad or in-between. Also last week there was the woman who had the the record deal when she was a teenager and Louis remembered her (or had met her backstage) She mentioned she had a son of 7 (and she'd been filmed beforehand as we saw her walking along with her son) and then Louis asks her if she just has the one son, and she says she lost a child many moons ago. It was so obvious that they all knew that - why would Louis ask her if she just had one son.

It annoys me even though I watch it. Anyone agree?

You have to place yourself in a state of suspended disbelief to fully experience the joy of the X-Factor, I reckon.
