What shall I watch on mat leave?

I've previously not been much of a TV person but the thought of hunkering down with a series / box set is appealing. In the past, I've enjoyed Corrie, Scott and Bailey, Broad church, Bad Girls. Happy to branch out a bit. Definitely don't want horror or anything that takes much concentration.
All suggestions greatly received.

At the end of my twin pregnancy I watched every episode of desperate housewives, sex and the city and 90210. I usually hate that sort of thing and couldn't make myself sit through it now, but at the time I was in heaven!

I've just got through Stella and Thirteen (that was great!)

fruityb · 19/08/2016 17:11

I just did Making a Murderer which I found fascinating. The Louis Theroux selection on Netflix is great as well.

Ebisu · 19/08/2016 17:12

Orange is the new black, I love it!

QforCucumber · 19/08/2016 17:14

Pretty little liars and desperate housewives are my trash TV choices when I need something easy watch and don't need to concentrate on

melibu84 · 19/08/2016 17:21

If you have Netflix, I also recommend The Good Wife as well as Charmed, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Sense8. There is also a new show on Netflix called The Get Down, which is meant to be really good.

I am also on maternity leave, and have mainly been watching quiz shows on Challenge, The Olympics and Say Yes to the Dress on TLC :D

I watched a ridiculous amount of box sets during my mat leave! True Blood, Gotham, The Good Wife, scandalous, da vinci's demons. More too, just can't think at the mo.

Lou2711 · 19/08/2016 17:31

I've used mine to watch devious maids!! It's very desperate housewives-y. I would have used my time to watch desperate housewives if I hadn't watched it all already!
