So nice to see his sensitivity and emotional maturity has been passed on to the next generation.

I've just watched today's episode, I feel
Like I must have missed one but I don't think I have- what is going on with Ben, Xanthe and Maddie? I couldn't work that out at all.

MagpieCursedTea · 08/09/2016 20:47

I think it's meant to look like they're having a thing but they're probably working on surprise for Xanthe.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/09/2016 22:36

TheWashingFairy - I genuinely laughed out loud at you whip-round comment! Grin

Mark has terrible taste in women. Dreadful Kate, Awful Paige, and now he is running around after a woman who doesn't want to move in with him and who doesn't want children, when all he has ever wanted since joining the show is marriage and babies. He'll probably end up with Ellie next.

Who else enjoyed Paige's dreadful training montage? I can't be the only one who's hoping the fight will end in her untimely demise?! Loving the will they/won't they of Paul & Therese. They have great chemistry.

Rrross1ges · 09/09/2016 21:07

Paige and Gary. Skank heaven!

Excited101 · 09/09/2016 23:23

I'm SO bored of Ben and Xanthe. Just be together now. I liked Paige and Matk but they made her ridiculous and this fighting stuff and Father Jack stuff is stupid. I still don't get why he can't be a 'man of God' and have a partner at the same time. I much prefer Steph and Belinda and both Charlie and Jimmy are absolute waste of spaces.

Asheth · 09/09/2016 23:39

The Ben/Xanthe/Madison love triangle is ridiculous. Ben barely knows Madison and yet he's suddenly close enough to her to ask for help. Madison was hired by Therese to sing, but Sheila sacks her, but Madison goes crying to Ben...

Ellie gets caught bullying a school girl. And not just any school girl. One who has recently lost her grandad and brother, parents have divorced, sister moved away... But Ellie gets away with it. And Brad is happy with that? Angry

Paul at the end was evil comedy genius. Grin Poor pigeons Sad

MagpieCursedTea · 10/09/2016 08:58

That's two storylines recently (Cooper attacking Xanthe and Elly bullying Piper) that they've resolved with the person in the wrong having "counselling".

I'm enjoying the Paul and Therese storyline, feels like a classic Neighbours plot.

CandODad · 10/09/2016 10:15

Apparently all professional problems are dealt with at home and off the record.

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 10/09/2016 10:54

Well, Susan probably doesn't want anything 'on the record' since 'the department' might then start asking why Susan seems to employ her daughter every time she happens to pass through Erinsborough for two weeks, and then when she isn't available hires her niece Mr Ellie the talking horse. Not to mention hiring random neighbours - Kate (qualifications: prancing around in a leotard and bowler hat; being moany and annoying, sometimes both at once) and Brad (who when in possession of his original blond head was frankly the stupidest person known to man and in his current incarnation clearly is reinventing human biology as we know it - 4 kids in 3 years with 3 mums was it?). If Susan was still an investigative journalist she'd be writing an exposé, but fortunately she's just a high school principal/ marriage celebrant/community activist/amateur PTSD therapist whilst also being a medical marvel whose MS has been conveniently on the back burner for yonks now. I wouldn't be surprised if she turns out to be Paige's next boxing opponent or Brad's next wife!

Excited101 · 10/09/2016 15:08

Fairy that post was genius. Susan is clearly, basically the Miss Rabbit of Neighbours.

MiddleClassProblem · 10/09/2016 15:44

Grin imagining Susan becoming Paige's Mr Miyagi

IthoughtATMwasacashpoint · 10/09/2016 16:19

It's getting a bit silly at the moment. I can't imagine that a recent psychiatric patient would be allowed a licence to keep deadly snakes - but then this is neighbours where normal rules have never applied. Nothing sensible ever gets in the way of a good plot.

Also enjoying the Paul and Terese tension, they're a much better fit than her and Gary.

Lunar1 · 10/09/2016 16:32

Right now I wish those snakes would eat the lot of them bar Paul and teresa.

HairsprayQueen · 10/09/2016 18:01

I see the Daily mail are referring to Nadison as 'former neighbours star who has wrapped filming' today (not an actual verbatim quote).

So hopefully off our screens very soon ✍

HairsprayQueen · 10/09/2016 18:02

Sorry I was looking for a fingers crossed emoji and didn't noticed I'd hit the writing one by mistake

MiddleClassProblem · 10/09/2016 19:42

That is good news. I am thinking that emoji is you working out the last possible date we have to put up with her until

woodhill · 10/09/2016 21:47

Ellie horse face in a relationship with gee up Neddie (amuses me).

Love the round the table disciplinary at the Kennedy's, highly professional.

MiddleClassProblem · 10/09/2016 23:45

Annoying Paige spoiler alert (plus others but end of spoiler is Paige so click at your own peril.

Digital spy spoiler

mrswhiplington · 12/09/2016 14:55

Why was Ben singing in a peculiar accent today? He kept singing "moy" instead of "my" and a few other odd words. Not sure he would have won me over with that song.

Who is Ned's ex girlfriend married to? Hope it's someone evil.

Number4OnTheWay · 12/09/2016 16:22

I skipped through the song 🙈 I couldn't listen, it just sounded like noise Hmm

IthoughtATMwasacashpoint · 12/09/2016 17:06

I really hope the snakes bite Ari.

Katz · 12/09/2016 18:51

Loved zanthe and pipers reaction to finding the cat amongst the pigeons!

HairsprayQueen · 12/09/2016 20:04

First time ever for this, but I did feel a bit sad for Paul with all his nice tables laid out and nobody there. His face Sad

(I'm sure I'll regret saying that tomorrow when he's horrid again)

Katz · 12/09/2016 20:20

I did feel for Paul - but it's his own fault. Hopefully he'll leave the vendetta behind him and move on, him and Terese can get together and have both hotels.
