I thought Lauren's dress was a dressing gown that she was using to cover up the wedding dress, I was waiting for her to take it off and unveil the dress, can't believe that WAS the dress. Hideous. And her hair made her look the same age as her mother.
I agree woodhill, she's never dressed well, poor thing. She always seems to be in poorly fitted, frumpy clothes that do nothing for her figure. I wonder if the producers do it on purpose, so she looks 'mumsy' and 'homely' in contrast to Therese's glamour.

I was pretty convinced it was Ellie who was pregnant, all that "especially now" stuff with Ned?!

And yes the dance - the writers took a leaf out of the bloody big book of cheese for that scene - it wasn't even good/funny. I actually squirmed.

Even my 10 year old commented on Lauren's dress, it was dreadful, it made her look ancient esp with the updo.
It was sooooo obvious that sonya is pregnant, why else even mention her period. I knew from the time she said she wouldn't take the map that would happen, prime soap gold ;)
I am thinking the other will definitely be paige, she will be even more insufferable than normal, she's the most annoying character.
The wedding was such a farce, imagine not coming just because the baby had a cold!

Brad's THE most annoying character - his dancing is vomsville.

I think Sonya's period cramps are a red herring, I reckon Paige will be pregnant.

Why am I always surprised at the predictability of Neighbours?

I feel like every time there is a big episode I come here and say 'well that was not surprising at all'!

Lauren's dress was awful! Weird length and not fitted to her at all. Also weirdly not at all her usual style (and I use that term loosely) Sonya should have worn it instead.

I'm beginning to think Head of Wardrobe really doesn't like the actress who plays Lauren. It could easily win a worst wedding dress ever to appear in a soap award.

Sooo, the promo. Looks like Steph gets another attack of The Gayz, Mark and Sonya start flashing their eyelashes over each other now he's knocked her up and then Dee turns up to rerun the whole "She's way too hot for Toadie anyway" storyline circa 2003. Excellent!!

The only good thing about yesterdays episode was Stonefish, I do like how the Rebecchi's come back now and then.

Don't know whether to watch the promo, it always hypes my hopes up too much and then I find they were the only good bits and the actual episodes are all filler.

The best Rebecchi is always Ange though. Really hope she pops up in the new year.

Surely Lauren must be pregnant in rl to wear a Sonya wedding frock like that? I'm sure she's hiding a bump but yes she looked far older with the hair. I want Kyles cousin to come back I loved him but can't remember his name!

I too think Jack's a dick even though Paige is too. He bonked her post traumatic experience and said he was giving it all up for her and the immediately u turned. I'm guessing there will be a little pro/anti abortion discussion somewhere in that plot along the way.

They often put Lauren in pregnancy-wear for some reason. I have thought she looked pregnant on and off for about two years now.

I absolutely cannot wait for Dee to come back. I have been waiting for this moment since the day the car went into the water.

There was mention of Lauren's children not coming but what about Imogen and Pam?

Has anyone ever had an abortion in Neighbours? I can't remember it ever being discussed.

Phoebe was going to abort Todd's baby, he rushed to the clinic to stop her and got run over and died. Poor Todd.

I'm not sure whether there will be an abortion but I reckon it will be discussed at some point. Having said that, both Lauren's daughters having babies not in relationships like she did seems a bit much too.

God that wedding dress was terrible!

I think there will be lots of hand wringing and drama, she'll decide to keep it and then tragedy will strike.

There's no way the production people are going to want two babies on set. Or four babies seeing as they usually use twins!

I hadn't thought of her losing it for some reason but I reckon you're right. She'll have just decided to keep it and then something will happen. We'all prob be due a big disaster at Easter!
