Milady could die in the service of France & redeem herself in everyone's eyes. Including Athos's. He can then ride off into the sunset with Sylvie & be wracked with guilt over Milady for the rest of his life. Voila!! The perfect Athos ending - he loves wallowing in misery

I'm depressed too WW. Athos and Milady just can't get it right, can they? Yes, he's going end up with Sylvie. That's put me off the last two episodes.

This is a stunningly good AO3 story if you want Athos and Milady to end up together. And I've even been kind enough to flag it up for you now that it's finished, so you don't have to chew your own arms off waiting for the next episode to be posted.

I'm not a fan of Sylvie... I wanted to be, but I'm just not feeling it all all. I adore Maimie as Milady - but was very ready to cheer for Ninon. Not cheering for Sylvie.

OK - try this one on for size - Sylvie's injuries get infected and she dies tragically in Athos' arms, so Athos can head off with Milady after all? Will that do until next week when that scenario will doubtless be proved wrong?

Loved it! Lots of AraFaf. I like Sylvie although admittedly I probably wouldn't be as fond of her if she was with Aramis

I'm so annoyed at the programme makers Tbh. The sylvie character is so pointless and irritating. "Quick, athos needs love interest now maimie is pg!" Grr
