Long time lurker and have loved these threads and all the links and theories! Have read both books and watched all series.

Have a question though, so now we pretty much have confirmation that R+L=J how is that going to be proven? Bran is pretty much the only living person who knows this (apart from Howland Reed who as yet hadn't figured much in either book or show apart from as flashbacks) so who is he going to tell or how is it going to come out and how will it be confirmed when pretty much everyone involved is now dead - Lyanna/Rhaegar/Ned etc.

Does anyone have any thoughts as its driving me mad!

There is a mad tin foil hat theory that something is hidden in the crypts of Winterfell that might reveal Jon's true identity. In the books he dreams that he is in the crypts and that he is being told by the dead starks that he doesn't belong there, which he interprets as bring due to being a bastard but off the back of R+L equals J could be the reason.
As to Cersei I think that she has accepted that the prophecy is going to come true no matter what she does so she is going to enjoy being in power until she is brought down. If she is going to have to taste ashes then she may as well revel in her glory for as long as it lasts.

Just did the same with Cortana hippo, she came up with Eddard Stark, typical windows being behind the times!

If there are ice dragons in the crypt at Winterfell will they be enemies of Dany's dragons? Or will they be allies and use their combination of ice breathing and fire breathing to destroy the Night King and wight walkers?

It is called a song of ice and fire, therefore there is an implication the two elements will work together.

Did the ice dragons make the wall?

Hiphop Maesters are a little bit like the Watchers on the Wall in that they are supposed to be celibate.

The books contain a whole interesting story line about Old Town & the Citadel which I'm guessing might feature next series.

Has Young Griff been erased from the TV show? Or will he feature next series? I'm guessing the former.

The maester's oath is more explicit about "not lying with a woman", though, isn't it? The Watchers are only forbidden from marrying

Citidel Maester is a random Danish comedian called Frank Hvam. Only Danes or devotees of obscure Euro cinema would recognise him.

I like watching these guys. They also have a video called The Ultimate Maester Theory which is suggesting the Maesters may aim to rule.

How is the explosion at the Sept explained?

Must admit I was finishing proofreading at the time I watched (can't face re-reading the text, prob had "the manufacturer Pycelle's horrid relieve back pain bloody hell that's Arya" and other gems)

The Sept exploded because Qyburn found a shitload of Wildfire (the green explodey stuff that we last saw in the Battle of the Blackwater at the end of season 2).

There is lot of celibacy, maesrers, Kings guard l, nights watch. Silent sisters, anyone qssosiated with the seven. No wonder they are all pent up with frustration!!

So if the show is going ahead with the citadel theory, does that mean Dany will start having visions of Quaithe? It's thought she appears to Dany using the class candles.
