Awwww, Grouchy she is gorgeous !

I'm sure we have had Sunday play in more recent times than '91 ?

Vamosbitch is sulking - doesn't like the rain, and seems to have learned that tennis means no attention ! She's also got the arse cos we had a man come in to look at our boiler and we wouldn't let her go and nosy at him. Grin

She's a stupid dog. Barks at the slightest thing, which can be very annoying if you're not expecting it. She doesn't mean any harm, and wouldn't hurt a fly, she's just got a big gob. Smile

MrsVamos · 29/06/2016 14:20

Grouchy

Ike is Raahh's. Vamosbitch's RL name is Bonnie. Smile

Raahh · 29/06/2016 14:27

Just managed a quickish walk before the heavens opened again.

The Willis story is amazing. I would love him to give Fed a great match. Roger was lovely about him on Monday, about wanting to ask him what made him decide to go for the pre-quaifiers. - I think it is a really special match. It's like a film.

If Leicester can do it...

Grin

Raahh

That's what Sue said !

Spooky....

MrsVamos · 29/06/2016 14:30

Grouchy

Vamosbitch aka Bonnie.

The best fortnight of the year - WIMBLEDON 2016.
Raahh · 29/06/2016 14:33

I am Sue
Grin

Gorgeous Bonnie.
Tim is using the same script they used in Paris- Djok feels unappreciated, everyone loves Rafa and Roger etc etc.

MrsVamos · 29/06/2016 14:33

Just walked ? Lucky you ! I'm out before half 7 most mornings then again later in the day at some point.

One good thing about this weather, least we're not waiting till gone 9pm to walk cos its so hot !

Urgh. Novak up next. Boooo. Least it should be a quick match, I suppose.

GrouchyKiwi · 29/06/2016 14:36

Bonnie is beautiful MrsV!

Monsieur Mannarino: please give Lego Head a run for his money.

Raahh · 29/06/2016 14:38

He had an early walk before the rain came, but we usually have a long walk after the school run. But he wasn't going out in the monsoonGrin

The sound is so eerie with the roof on.

Go Mannarino (or Italian equivalent).

I made ds go to school on his bike because the sun was almost shining at 7am . He's just come back from a wet camp, so won't be happyGrin

MrsVamos · 29/06/2016 14:39

Tim's very boring with all that. If Novak feels unloved and under-appreciated etc etc blah blah blah he needs to get over himself.

Shouldn't need crowd appreciation if you have love and family and friends outside of tennis.

Its not just Novak's 'likeability' though is it ? All through his career he's been a bit of a dirty, sneaky player, taking the piss out of those he apparently is so admiring of on and off court. The eye problems, feigning fatigue and injury etc etc blah blah blah.

If the vommentators don't get that, they'll never understand.

Bloody Petch gets right on my wick. Snivelling arse-licker.

Switches from player to player fawning quicker than I can switch a light on. Twat.

Raahh · 29/06/2016 14:40

Italian?? He's French isn't he? The rain is getting in my head.Grin

Raahh · 29/06/2016 14:44

Don't mince your words there, MrsV.

Thing is, he is currently the best. Is he really so insecure he cares what the fans think? I don't think he is. The vommenators are trying to build up this persona, that I don't think exists.

Arghhh. I am putting off the school run...I'm sure they know the way back by now!

MrsVamos · 29/06/2016 14:45

Awww, she thanks you, Grouchy. Smile

She is pretty - not as stunning as our 2 sibes were but completely different dog !

Education is finished for the summer in our house. The formal stuff any way. We're planning a few day trips to amuse ourselves but I really want to decorate so I must motivate myself after Wimby to go and choose decor. Hmm Not looking forward to that.

MrsVamos · 29/06/2016 14:49

Raahh

Agree. Don't think he gives a shit actually. I think it gets on his wick that he's still not mentioned in the same 'way' Roger and Rafa are, but they are and always will be very unique players who were the best in their time.

If he doesn't feel he matches up to them, standing after a win doing a 'all my love' gesture to the crowds after HOW many years on tour now is too little too late.

I still say he's being sick. Wink

CremeEggThief · 29/06/2016 14:52

She is beautiful, MrsV.

Nodding and smiling at everything you said above. Technically, Djokovic is very consistent and a good all-rounder, but there is something mechanical or robotic about his game. He will just never be exciting to watch, in the way any of the other top guys are, and I'm including people like Gasquet, Tsonga and Monfils in that statement, not just the top 5.

GrouchyKiwi · 29/06/2016 14:59

Agree about robotic style of play, CremeEgg.

Have to cede TV to small fry, but will watch more on my laptop. Maybe the other matches will have started up again by now.

CremeEggThief · 29/06/2016 15:01

Make sure you reclaim the telly for Marcus vs Roger, KiwiSmile.

MrsVamos · 29/06/2016 15:04

Thanks, Creme. Smile

Wish I could show you the sibes, they were stunning. Not got any pics on my phone though. Sad

Miss them dreadfully, they were such characters. That's the horrible thing I never considered about dog ownership, it gets to a point where they will have been gone for longer than you had them.

I'm too soppy for my own good.

Agree re other players, there are so many who are better to watch. Perhaps that's the fundamental thing about Novak. Everything is so bloody boring.

At least when he played Rafa you got excited because you knew there would be 2 different styles of play that made each player have to work and win.

I thought the same about Andy the other day. Far too content to get into long rallies end to end and not seeming to want to risk another shot, so it becomes a power battle.

Boring.

MrsVamos · 29/06/2016 15:06

Yy, Grouchy reclaim the tv for later !

GrouchyKiwi · 29/06/2016 15:11

Absolutely, Creme. The computer is rather laggy.

MrsVamos · 29/06/2016 15:12

Rats. Angry

Wish someone would at least take a set off Novak. First set would be ideal. See how rattled he'd get.

Mannarino isn't disgracing himself. Silly mistakes.

Allez !

CremeEggThief · 29/06/2016 15:14

Letting pets go is incredibly difficult, MrsV. I really struggled with my cat and I really should have let her go at least 6 months before I did. I was hoping she would die naturally , but it wasn't too be and I had to intervene in the end.Sad

Andy will never be Mr. Exciting, but at least his ranting and his dropshots add a hint of interestSmile.

Apart from shoving some veggie burgers and chips in the oven and loo breaks, I'm not moving from this sofa until after the highlights show tonight!

MrsVamos · 29/06/2016 15:51

Its pouring here so we're not going walkies for a while yet !

Rough Collie coats are great, for them ! She can stand in the rain for ages and not feel it, but she gets soaked. Very different from sibes, who don't really gave a doggie smell, she stinks sometimes !

I know what you mean Creme. When our 1st sibe died, our girl, she went on her own... I held her as she went. But when our boy went, he had a fit, which was our signal something wasn't right. They got worse and more frequent as the day wore on, and I ended up ringing the vet in tears, who we had been in touch with all day and begging them to come and see him. I couldn't actually bring myself to say what I actually meant.

When they did eventually agree that 7 fits probably wasn't good Hmm it took them another 2 hours to get to us. Poor old boy actually fitted again before they got here and I don't think he ever properly came round again. Sad I could see each time he fitted we lost him a bit more.

Didn't help that the silly mare at the end of the phone when the vet agreed to come kept saying "you know what you're asking for, don't you"...

Just horrible. I've always felt wretched about it, because I think we all want our animals to go peacefully and pain free, don't we...the just go to sleep scenario.

I'll never know if I should have insisted in the morning that the vet come, because poor old boy had a day of it, bless him.

Don't know why we do it to ourselves really.

CremeEggThief · 29/06/2016 16:05

Aw, MrsV Sad (hugs).

GrouchyKiwi · 29/06/2016 16:08

Flowers MrsV It is so hard when they go. But they're so lovely when they're with us that it's worth it, I think.

Mannarino putting up a decent fight but Djokovic too good. And I'm getting a migraine, which is never fun with three under 5.
