I do think Porthos and Athos are sensible to keep sending Aramis away from the Queen, as he doesn't seem to be able to resist giving her long meaningful stares whenever he sees her.

Let's be charitable and assume that Helen. Aramis does seem to veer between actually quite thick and able to perform surgery and speak fluent Spanish (yes, I know it's Santi's first language but I mean the character).

Well, I just watched the ep, and I thought it was alright!

Hung together ok apart from a few obvious plot holes seemed to make sense largely, quite liked the little mad guy, thought he was pretty good.

Little mad guy was pretty good I agree madame. I think I could use a complete binge rewatch of the series so far tbh, the schedule hopping & clashes with the football has interrupted the flow for me.

I need to binge watch on laptop with headphones so I can ignore any eye rolling etc. Not a chance of that at the moment with current usual workload. I was going to work less this year

Agree wholeheartedly with you Fancy about the flow being interrupted. I def need to binge watch in peace sometime.

I don't mind Sylvie in the sense that at least we get to see Athos having a bit of a snog and he's not just getting pissed up and morose. However, agree the chemistry not as good as with Maimie and I worry a bit about what's going to happen further into the series when she does come back. Will we just want him to ditch Sylv?

Also, not being funny, couldn't they have just done a week of filming with Maimie and cut and shut it into the whole series? It's only about 2 mins of musketeer plot in with the baddies, so not much to film......

Also those 'crown jewels' looked like I'd bought a job lot from Baker Ross craft stuff. Surely props could have come up with something slightly better?

Comtess the props do go a bit awry sometimes. do you remember when Trev was sacked but someone zoomed in on the letter he had, which turned out to be a bit about the history of lace in France, with a big flamboyant 'Louis' at the bottom?

Maybe they didn't know that Mamie could join them until later in the season, so couldn't be certain she could appear. And can you imaging the carnage with Tom's beardage? They can't keep it the same length for one episode, never mind match it to bits of the entire series! Hair must hate designer stubble, but surely they have a machien to keep it trimmed at a certain length? #Clueless, but....

Mornig is miserable weather here - The washign machine has just finished so I can put it all out on the line for an extra rinse . I may need to follow Fancy's example and re-watch that video...
