It was a brilliant finish without the Bath bit, but frustrating (yes, I missed it first time round!) .... But definitely a better finish to the series with it.

Rhu going back to your earlier comment about my neighbour and his brown sauce, I asked him when he brought the dish back if he thought it was ok because I felt I had to add more seasoning. He said it was fine and he had it with brown sauce. He really has no idea about food at all. I offered him some mushroom soup a while back and he refused as he said it was too exotic! Glad the story cheered you up though!

I've been really out of sorts with the work colleague dying, the memories from yesterday and then losing my cool with my neighbour. I need to get back to normal this week! Mind you, I'm only in for two days. It's the RHS flower show at Tatton Park on Wednesday and I'm taking the rest of the week off.

I've started using the 'what's the first rule' line on DS and MrP. I love BS42 so much.

I think a watch under radio silence and then a week of speculation between episodes is the way to go for s2.

Yes have to agree re OG2. Will need to watch in silence and absorb then have a chat afterwards and also watch copious times during the week like series 1.

No, I'm going to be stuck in a sweaty training room in London on the hottest day of the year ice. Lucky old me. Enjoy Tatton. I'm trying to see if I can get over to Malvern for the autumn show.

Just read through thread and enjoyed Watchalong, esp nicks DH always buying her mushroom ready meals - good comparison to CJ and Molly's posh meal menu ordering dilemma, nick - made me titter. My DHs annoying habit when out to dinner is helping himself to my food without permission, saying "I just want a little taster". Grr! Bugger off you greedy b*st*d!! Grin

Good to see you back, Woof,. I think that the stuff with "OUR GIRL", Alice, in France made us realise here in Godzone, as we are arrogant enough to call it sometimes,that we are just as vulnerable as you guys all those thousands of miles away. Makes the world a lot smaller and friendships even more precious to me. I felt a lot closer to all of you over the past few days.
Ice, I have been thinking about you a lot. It sounds to me as if you are an amazingly supportive daughter and that will be one of the best things your Mum could ever have.
