Morning. I have discovered "Our Girl meets Poldark" and am giggling myself silly.

Coring strawberries? You learn something new everyday. I shall add it to the ever-increasing list of ways I am a domestic-goddess-complete-fail.

I have a friend coming up from Manchester today and I've just done red wine strawberry jellies for pudding. I've cut the green bits off but let's see if she noticed they've not been cored! Haha. Never heard of it before, what a waste, not just of time but of the fruit too!

Coring strawberries WTF!!!! I don't wash them either, and peeling cucumber... I like it looking green makes me think my kids are having somethings green as they wont eat broccoli, spouts or beans!

Driving back down to Portsmouth tonight for DS second week of work experience. I've decided not to stay the week and come back tomorrow. The hotel staff know him now so I'm hoping he will be ok.

Me either rich, I don't wash any fruit. I know, bad mum, hey ho! DH goes mad at me, but the kids eat stuff from the hedgerow, and things that fall on the floor, pretty sure not washing a few strawberries is going to make very little difference!

Hope DH is ok this week. Hope was it last week? Did he have fun?

Really want the kids to go to bed now, I'm shattered, need to clear the bed of stuff so I can lie down, but tempted just to get the quilt with everything on top, and just sleep like that. That's acceptable. Right? 😜

nickel I regularly get into an un made bed. My fault as I have only one set of our linen and to get it washed and dried and back on is quite a challenge!

DS enjoyed last week, this week should be better as he is meant to be working more in the area his interested in, aerospace. I'm def coming back home tomorrow, as little one is back from his kayaking trip and TBH DH was completely useless last week. No washing done, didn't water the garden... This list continues!!

Hilarious - the dog started twirling in front of the TV as soon as someone said fifty sausage challenge - he knows the word 'Sausage' very well indeed. He will do anything for one!
