Here comes Molly's declaration...........

Would the captain really go up to a possibly booby trapped sheet like that or would he send one of the minions?

pixieg1rl · 03/07/2016 21:55

Brize Norhton!

Dia duit ( hello in Irish) mum is in good spirits. Having her biopsy today.

Also got the very sad news yesterday that my aunt passed away too. She had been very ill, she was in the same hospital as my mum was and they had both met with my sister and other aunt and uncle on Saturday and she has been laughing and joking.

Hope everyone enjoyed the watch-along Smile

MaddieMoo82 · 04/07/2016 13:00

Glad your mum is in good spirits and hoping today goes ok ice.

MrMads has come home from work with d&v. Is bad that I'm not feeling the whole looking after him thing well no more than normal Hmm

pixieg1rl · 04/07/2016 13:18

So sorry you're having such a rough time of it ice. Hope everything goes well today with your mum. Flowers

Mads, my non existent limited patience with sick partner got even more scarce after DS came along. I'd be inclined to quarantine MrMads to stop the D&V spreading; which unfortunately means that you have to do everything, but it is slightly better than everyone in the house coming down with it and the associated time off work/nursery etc. Can you get some more help from your parents/in laws this week? Give MrMads some antiseptic wipes and a screen and leave him to it.

Afternoon all

Hope everything goes well today ice

Having a panic as I've bought for the first time a contract mobile. Normally its pay as you go for me but decided to take the plunge. I think I shouldve looked around a bit first but my old phone was on its last legs. Is £20 a month too much does anyone think? ConfusedConfused

pixieg1rl · 04/07/2016 14:12

Depends on what you want/need. I wanted a higher spec handset and good data allowance so paid a bit more. I get stuff I don't use much like free minutes and texts because I don't actually talk to anyone.

Look at what you can get online (something like mobile phones direct), call your provider and see if they can match/better it. There wasn't much wriggle room for me this time round because I wanted a specific handset and deal, but I've done well before. Also don't discount paying a bit up front if you can afford it. Remember to look at the cost over the course of the contract and not just the monthly cost.

Ahhh cheers pix. I've literally just read a review on the phone online and it seems okay. I'm hoping now Ive cancelled my gym membership, I can use that money for my phone.

I'm more on Twitter stuff like that more than making calls but if I've got the luxury of free minutes, I might push the boat out and actually I'm hoping someone Grin. I'm like you then pix as I don't really ring people. I can imagine you having a phone that's a cool one.

MaddieMoo82 · 04/07/2016 14:38

Thanks pix. Yes leaving him to it upstairs and selfishly hoping me and DS don't get it. I've had to take Thursday as annual leave already as no childcare so fingers crossed he keeps his bugs to himself Shock

kelly I pay £20 a month which is all I wanted to pay, but for that my phone spec is pretty low. Kinda wish I did pay more so could have more storage due to the large amount of pictures I have on it not necessarily all of DS and MrMads Grin

Onlygirljen · 04/07/2016 14:38

Have just read through last nights watch along comments and feel like I watched it myself! I've lost my dvd during the decluttering frenzy, definitely need to download and watch again.

mads I would go nowhere near him unless you want it too! My youngest had the same last week and he was miserable, I was sure I'd catch it too although have been ok so far touches wood.

kel 20 a month sounds pretty reasonable to me. I'd recommend shopping around to see what's on offer though. I managed to get a really good deal on a new iPhone a few months ago after shopping around. Mobiles.co.uk had a lot of the best deals around.

MaddieMoo82 · 04/07/2016 14:41

Ill be using my minutes to ring you this week kelly Grin

pixieg1rl · 04/07/2016 15:02

I may have wanted the data deal and lots of storage on my phone so I could dick about online and have lots of photos of things other than my son. Ahem

How are the holidays and decluttering going Jen?

OP posts:
icemistOBE · 04/07/2016 15:08

I have used all my free storage on iCloud am paying 79p a month to store all my photos that I have more of you know who of the boys

Onlygirljen · 04/07/2016 15:48

So-so thanks pix, little one being ill last week meant the school holidays didn't get off to the greatest start. We ended up in kids a&e last week to have him rehydrated after his epic puking sessions.

I've managed to get rid of quite a bit of clutter but fast running out of time now. We go on holiday in a fortnight so just trying to get what I can done before then. I'm never moving house again. Ever.
