I'm missing it tooSad. Been watching Red Rock instead. Not the same.

Raahh · 20/07/2016 20:53

it's still not back for aaaaaages Sad September, I think.

i watched one episode of Red Rock.

I tend to walk the dog again for a bit around Doctors time. But 1.45 is still Doctors time to meGrin

I agree, raaah. Quarter to two is hard-wired in to my being. I can't look at my watch without thinking "Doctors! ". Even away on holiday I used to leave the beach to watch it. Saddo that I am.

There's something deliciously indulgent about watching Doctors on holiday. Almost a bit..taboo.

I watched one episode of Red Rock as well- that was enough. I agree about the holiday indulgence of Doctors= the only soap I watch now. I gave up on Corrie years ago. Oops sorry, I mean continuous day time drama regarding Doctors. Smile

absolutelynotfabulous · 21/07/2016 12:52

I've persisted with Red Rock and it's improving. Slightly.

It lacks the WTF-ness of Doctors.

Roll on September. Smile.

absolutelynotfabulous · 21/07/2016 17:18

DD has found an old episode of Doctors on youtube! From 2003. Eddie Redmayne is in it. Bliss!!

toldmywrath · 22/07/2016 09:40

Oh yes abnotfab - I started watching that one & have kept meaning to finish.

It makes me yearn for a channel repeating the whole lot from the start- & I'd watch them during the time of Doctors absences due to supposed better things going on in the world (Wimbledon, Olympics etc). Sigh, we can but dream... Grin

toldmywrath · 22/07/2016 09:43

Mind you, we're getting some really interesting political stuff happening- I've never been so interested in politics. I always listen to PMQ but I was away on holiday this week so missed TMay's maiden PMQ. I shall watch on catch up later.

absolutelynotfabulous · 22/07/2016 15:04

told I'm not sure if that's the only one, thoughSad. I started watching in March 2003.

I'd love to see the earlier ones.

toldmywrath · 22/07/2016 18:05

I couldn't find any other whole episodes apart from that Eddie Redmayne one abnotfab

absolutelynotfabulous · 22/07/2016 19:45

Boo. Roll on SeptemberSad

toldmywrath · 29/07/2016 14:37

I think that the makers of Doctors are making a huge mistake- what if they lose all their regular viewers due to getting a life whilst the sport etc. has been on. Shock Grin

absolutelynotfabulous · 29/07/2016 15:24

I'm actually getting into Red Rock now. There's 40 episodesShock.

This is the longest break from Doctors there's been, I think.

toldmywrath · 29/07/2016 17:27

Yes it is the longest break. I've taken up reading/lounging/sudoku at that time of day. TBH I do all that stuff anyway, but I get an extra half hour now. Some days I'm at work in the afternoons (tend to do mostly mornings)

cinnamongreyhound · 01/08/2016 18:43

Haven't watched red rock but I'm looking forward to some olympics and getting the kids involved too! Then I'll be on holiday and then it will be back!

toldmywrath · 01/08/2016 21:43

Hello cinnamon! I quite like the Olympics (I watched way too much of the London ones) But I'm not sure with time zone differences whether I'll be watching live this time.
Hope you have a good holiday. This year is flying by.

cinnamongreyhound · 01/08/2016 23:09

Back 30th August, random date!!!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 01/08/2016 23:18

Got very excited when I saw this thread in active conversations, but am now fed up because we still have almost a month to go.

cinnamongreyhound · 02/08/2016 07:41

Sorry Sad

toldmywrath · 22/08/2016 09:48

Not long now, I have read back over the last few posts as I can't remember what happened as it was so long ago. I've enjoyed the Olympics & I have watched far too much sport (again).

toldmywrath · 22/08/2016 09:51

Any way, a general nod to life here- the nights are drawing in & the leaves are dropping from the trees. I bet it's Spring in Letherbridge, oh I do enjoy the seasonal anomalies of our favourite show.

toldmywrath · 22/08/2016 09:53

I only watched the first Red Rock thingy that was on in place of Doctors. Imagine if I'd got drawn into another crap quality daytime drama. Grin

cinnamongreyhound · 26/08/2016 21:40

Who's ready for Tuesday?!? It's been a veeeeery long time!

GeekyWombat · 26/08/2016 22:53

I'm so glad you posted. I thought it was another week! Hooray for the return of my Jimmi ;)
