Just caught up- so sad for baby Nicolas. Emma really did make it all about her, I hope she leaves. I like her less & less with each passing episode (I didn't think that it was possible to dislike a person so much)

I hope we can keep up a bit of thread participation during the horrendously long break. I liked Val's silver shoes as well (the episode with the young man pretending to be virtual Alice)

I can barely keep up thread participation when it's on. I'll try and do better when it isn't.

You'll have a spare 25 minutes now per weekday (although probably not with all the tennis etc.) I turned tv on for Queens earlier & Coast was on-has it been rained off?

It was a horrible last episode before a summer break. I'm annoyed at them that baby Nicholas couldn't have been ok and Rhiannon a reformed character!!

I am about 2 weeks behind. I need to catch up before we dump the Sky box though, so I'd better get a wriggle on.

Oh what are you doing other than Sky- we have a Tivo (Virgin) & it is brilliant but getting so expensive. Only have the basics (no Sky Sports stuff etc) plus broadband fibre unlimited 70mph or whatever you measure it in! (mpb?)

I discovered we were paying a fortune for Sky told, over £70 a month (included Sports and Movies). That didn't even include Broadband though!

We are going over to BT and have also bought an Amazon Firestick. BT are going to be £19 a month, and we got Amazon Firestick and Prime free as I had some vouchers.

It annoys me because Sky have now phoned and offered to reduce our bill to £21 a month. No thanks, you've fleeced us long enough.

I know they are trying to wrest as much emotion as possible from the baby story but I just can't buy into it. I don't think it helped that Ruhma and 6tl are involved, as they are the most dislikeable characters since Ruth.

I am finding I'm actually wanting the parents to be guilty so 6tl leaves / gets struck off.

Ruhma is awful.

I may have mentioned that before.

I just don't think it's believable, she didn't deliberately hurt her dd that was taken from her she neglected her. not that that isn't terrible but oh so different.

I'm watching the last episode before the break now.

Ruhma praying and 6tl staring moodily out of a rain splattered windscreen - it is like teenage fan fiction. Doctors is capable of much better than this.

So 6tl proves once again her incredible lack of judgment. Has she ever made a wise decision? She is so sure she is always right that she never listens to anyone.

I can't believe that's it now until September.

Hopefully they will cut the wage bill by sending 6tl off to Australia and Ruhma will disappear up her own bum.

Looks like TBFE is going to be reunited with Kim Tate! he is joining Corrie. I would love it if they put those two together again. A definite improvement on 6tl.

I'm enjoying the tennis & football, might give the Olympics less of my viewing time this time.

I have been reading more books & lying out in the sun on my lounger in the afternoons (haha- it's happened about 3 times due to the inclement weather)Reading is much better when you're outside lazing.
