Starting a new thread ready for the dramas of next week.

Can't believe I'll be on holiday when the all the excitement is going on. That was seriously bad planning.

If Paul dies then I'm not coming home.

My wish list for death: Amy, her son, her mum, Sonya, Ben & Steph.

He's got a genetic disorder. I thought they might gloss over it. Just have him introduce himself but they had Terese assume he was a child.

BusMum79 · 04/08/2016 09:43

Indeed. It was just handled really weirdly, making it unnecessarily surreal. I hope there aren't more "comedy" Udigawa misunderstandings on the way, but I fear there will be!

MiddleClassProblem · 04/08/2016 15:37

Today's ep is like watching casulty Grin

PandasRock · 04/08/2016 16:17

I'm confused by today's episode.

Is Ellie supposed to have been drugged? She said to Steph she doesn't drink anymore, so wasn't drunk when she was weaving about/falling over paving stones (why wasn't she concerned at all about her own behaviour, if she hadn't had anything to drink?!)

On top of that - when she arrived last week, didn't she get drunk with Tyler? Or offer Mark a drink? I'm sure many mentions of ' I need a drink' or similar were made, when she turned up, so when did this no-alcohol thing start anyway?

Of course, the whole was she/wasn't she drugged will now be lost in the new snakebite drama, but it all seemed odd.

Although, now I think about it, she was fairly wobbly when she bumped into the weirdo who was filming Amy, so is she just in denial about her drinking, and is actually an alcoholic?

MiddleClassProblem · 04/08/2016 16:33

I've read spoilers and still doesn't make sense. I think they have a teenager that gets to write the odd storyline here and there.

Lovewineandchocs · 04/08/2016 18:13

She had Chardonnay with Susan as well!

MiddleClassProblem · 04/08/2016 19:12

Maybe her I do t drink anymore was "since this morning?"

woodhill · 05/08/2016 13:51

Now she's pregnant I think?

mrswhiplington · 05/08/2016 15:20

Karl said she lost the baby. I don't think they said how far along she was. Everything seemed very quick as usual. Why would Susan let Elly's ex know she was pregnant if there was a danger of losing it? Surely you would see what happens and then let them know. Not sure he could do much about it though.

Why would he send a text saying he's put money into her account? Was it for the baby? It's getting more bizarre by the day.

Elly's writhing about was awful acting. Pity the anti-venom worked!

Clawdy · 05/08/2016 18:15

Don't think he was told about the pregnancy, was he? Just that she was in hospital. Not sure why he was sending her money, though.

KittyMcAllister · 05/08/2016 18:46

Yes that whole Elly thing/money transfer was bizarre. I don't think he was told about the baby, just that she was in hospital. There is something we're not being told about her but I can't bring myself to care. Pretty much sums up how I feel about the whole cast at the mo!

Most conspicuous snake award goes to....

GwendolynPost · 06/08/2016 00:20

Why did Toadie and Sonya shit themselves when Ellie said it was a brown snake?

Rrross1ges · 06/08/2016 05:54

Why did Toadie and Sonya shit themselves when Ellie said it was a brown snake?
Is that a euphemism for an unflushed poo?

MiddleClassProblem · 06/08/2016 07:28

I think it was because they're not from round there, not native. They're snake racist.

prettybird · 06/08/2016 09:27

Looked it up on Wikipedia: "brown snakes" are one of the most poisonous types of snake in the world! Shock

Lovewineandchocs · 08/08/2016 15:52

And the award for most insensitive twat goes once again to.....Brad Willis! Congratulations Brad! Shock

mrswhiplington · 08/08/2016 16:02

Can't believe anyone would propose to someone in their ex-wife's garden. Not very romantic.Sad

I know Paige is awful but Piper is following on close behind at the minute. What a mean thing to do with that video. Another spoilt brat!

BusMum79 · 08/08/2016 18:09

Agree that Brad is horrendously insensitive- although am looking forward to ghost of Matt turning up soon as a result of the proposal, presumably. Ellie's hospital bed acting was abysmal- so much gurning!
I thought better of Piper, I must say, although I can understand she's massively hurt. Not a fan of Paige. Wondering if all her "check up" references today and appointment at the hospital mean she will somehow find out she's pregnant an incredibly short time after getting it on with Tyler. And also, it's only a few month's since Ned played a Brad Lauren sex tape at the citizen of the year party. Not very inventive!

BusMum79 · 08/08/2016 18:10

*months

woodhill · 08/08/2016 23:16

Loved it when Paige said "you think I'm easy" to John ( yes I do actually). I have needs says she. (yuck)

GwendolynPost · 08/08/2016 23:18

Therese should have thrown her own 'Finally off loaded that twat of a man child on the dozy bitch from the cafe' party.
Would have been much more fun.

Really have no idea where Paige gets her Olympic level attention seeking and insensitivity from ...Hmm

MiddleClassProblem · 09/08/2016 17:11

Imo one to watch, Elly was upset she lost the baby + Mark really wants a baby. I don't think Steph does tbh and they don't fit anyway as a couple. I reckon by the end of the year they will be together.

Oh I think you are right, Middle. Good spot.

Time for a new thread before this one gets to 1000.
