Starting a new thread ready for the dramas of next week.

Can't believe I'll be on holiday when the all the excitement is going on. That was seriously bad planning.

If Paul dies then I'm not coming home.

My wish list for death: Amy, her son, her mum, Sonya, Ben & Steph.

OP posts:

Little scared by the way Angus said he liked a challenge! Stalker?!

The previews at the end gave me the impression that Ned's going to target Lauren to get back at Brad... the big question - is he going to hit on her or have her kidnapped by his gang? It's got to be one or the other!

RTKangaMummy · 04/05/2016 16:24

Think I saw ned with the rough bloke that was talking about putting plans in paul's case did anyone else see it?

RTKangaMummy · 04/05/2016 16:27

Feel sorry for a teenager that is in same situation as Angus feeling dumped all the time by a parent and not wanted by other parent - don't like the character or the actor trying to act but the storyline is a great shame for child involved

Don't mean cancer bit cos that is obviously horrible but the dumping isn't very kind IMHO

RTKangaMummy · 04/05/2016 16:29

Agnu good thought process about ned and Lauren to get back at brad

I am really overthinking this today

Excited101 · 05/05/2016 22:12

Ned is going to seduce Lauren, harsh but looking forward to see how it plays out!

Angus' accent is awful, I've got no idea what it is or what it's meant to be. His acting is almost as bad. I can't feel sorry for him as he acting is so poor. Why have all the newbies been such dreadful actors?

I also feel a bit sorry for Paul. I liked the idea of him and Therese together.

The bullying of Xanthe makes no sense, as if those girls would just sit there and openly admit to it like that to Shelia.

I don't like Steph with Mark either, I'm team Paige. Though she can be a bit ridiculous I thought he balanced her out nicely.

RTKangaMummy · 05/05/2016 23:42

Agree about Lauren and ned - did you notice the look she gave him at the end credits? She is going to get a tattoo and brad is going to be livid

Xanthe is "bullying" herself iyswim she is writing the horrible posts herself isn't she? But posting as anon?

MiddleClassProblem · 06/05/2016 00:16

I think it's ridiculous if Lauren actually does go there with Ned, like she will just go with anyone now, like and 80s blonde floozy stereotype with no will power or even able to choose/just go with it. Hopefully she will just catch him out.

Xanthe is the new Donna.

I liked Paige and Mark and so annoyed they didn't get back together post wedding but I think he's a bit boring now. Doesn't suit being with Steph.

MagpieCursedTea · 06/05/2016 07:16

I much prefer Mark with Steph! Not really keen on Paige in general though.

Excited101 · 06/05/2016 15:42

Xanthe is, but she's certainly not writing all of them. She's not the new Donna, she's the new Tash! Donna had her head screwed on a bit more than Xanthe or Tash.

JessTitchener · 06/05/2016 16:12

Why were the girls bullying Xanthe dressed like middle aged women at a golf club function?

MiddleClassProblem · 06/05/2016 16:19

Nah, Donna started of strange then became a good character. She was

MiddleClassProblem · 06/05/2016 16:20

Sorry posted to early

She was a bit of a weird groupie in the beginning

AGnu · 06/05/2016 19:00

Donna, Elle, Tash, Janae, Amber... there's pretty much always a vain, pretty, blonde teen. She's often balanced out by an intelligent friend, usually a brunette, with zero interest in fashion or being popular - Rachel, Bridget, Imogen, Piper... It's like a Neighbours formula!

MiddleClassProblem · 06/05/2016 19:03

AGnu, nail on the head

AGnu · 06/05/2016 19:03

Blonde girl usually ends up becoming more comfortable with herself which allows her natural talents to shine through while brunette mellows in her geekiness over time & starts dressing better until we all forget the two girls were polar opposites when they arrived.

MiddleClassProblem · 06/05/2016 21:45

I love John Doe's worryingly aggressive behaviour. It makes Eastenders look like Pulp Fiction

Excited101 · 07/05/2016 12:30

Haha! Yeah! He was grabbed when he has sound cancelling ear phones on and is concentrating, I'd probably lash out too!

MiddleClassProblem · 07/05/2016 12:43

He just turned around with his arm up. He didn't even take a swing!

Woodhill · 07/05/2016 13:17

Don't forget annoying Summer and the original Charlene and plain Jane superb brain, albeit blonde

Greengagesummer · 07/05/2016 14:12

GrinGrinGrin

Daffydil · 08/05/2016 12:18

Tom Quill's money - how would he ever find out that Xanthe and Ben had it (if they don't go round telling everyone and effectively drop themselves in it?) and what exactly did Ben expect Angus to do? "Don't touch that! Now I'm going to leave the room and leave you alone with the case I've told you not to touch with a load of stolen money in it..." Honestly.

skillsandtea · 11/05/2016 17:27

Sooooo bored of Ned and John Doe.. Move on already!

Excited101 · 11/05/2016 17:43

I don't like the John Doe character. Maybe we're not meant to- I'm not sure. The 'near miss' with Tyler was painful and could have been done properly with him actually lashing out, I've got no idea why they did it like that.

And Tyler and piper, seriously? It's ridiculous. But then, I'm not keen on her character either.

Neighbours seems a bit 'lost' at the moment, I don't know. It just seems to have forgotten what it should be about.

Hackedabove · 11/05/2016 21:47

DS1 keeps wandering in when I watching it asking if we know who started the explosion... It's being strung along for a long time for Neighbours.

mrswhiplington · 12/05/2016 14:35

What was that in today's episode? Aaron exercising, some bloke comes over and starts talking gibberish. Geordie Shore? Were we supposed to know who he was? The whole scene was excruciatingly bad! Do British people watch that programme never mind Australians?

I think Paige is heading for a massive fall getting involved with John Doe. But Mark will be there to say "I told you so". Sad
