Why did Rhona say "Pretend you fell off a horse" to explain his bruise. He's a Vet. He could've been kicked by any sort of animal, he's the most unlikely equestrian ever.

Eric- something going on with him. Not just a touch of dodgy tummy, I reckon he'll have something serious and bowel related (a slow burn storyline )

Chrissie and Robert are talking . Is there going to be another Sudgen Brother Love Triangle? (Yawn)

Loved it, it was so well done. The motorbike flying at Ashley, with him just standing there dazed was fab.

It was excellent. The car crash and underwater scenes were gripping!

I thought the first 15 minutes were well done too, showing Ashley losing huge chunks of time from his perspective - very sad.

I have loved this week - even the bizarre Rhona episode. It has been different and very welcome. I agree that the motorbike flying over Ashley was fantastic. I do hope Ashley is not blamed for the pile up.

Hopefully James will be ok (actually I'd like wooden Bill Ward out) so that he can tell the truth about Emma and the cause of the accident, otherwise I think Ashley will get the blame.

I don't think anyone will believe him that it was caused by a man landing on his car after falling over a bridge following an argument with a woman in a wedding dress.

Can any eagle eyed viewers answer a few questions for me?
How did the policeman know a car had gone in the water (who saw that?) How did Victoria and Adam realise the car belonged to Aaron when they ran straight to the water?
Who owned the other pairs of feet in black shoes standing in the mud beside Lachlan's feet near the water?

When Robert went back in the lake to get Lachlan, he opened the boot only to see it was empty. Why did Lachlan close the boot after he escaped?

loinnir, Victoria screamed for help and the policeman appeared and she told them a car went in the water.

Adam said someone told him a racer type car (I think) had gone through the woods.

I thought the scene with the feet was everyone at the water edge but just that Lachy was a bit further away.

Ginsoaked, I never even noticed that surely it would have filled with water and been impossible to close

So who's going to die tonight? James, Aaron, Rhona or Paddy?

My money's on Aaron going tonight but I'd rather it was Paddy - or better still the hideous Pierce but he appears to be ok.

I think Rhona will die, I think Emma will kill James, but where would people think James had come from ? Surely someone must have seen him fall.

Ooh I've avoided this thread for the last few days as I needed to catch up.
Loved last nights episodes - and I deal with car accidents for work and thought they actually did it quite well.

For me, I was hoping Lachey would be killed, along with James and Rhona (although I think they should develop the Rhonda / Pierce storyline into the coercive control type way it was heading).

In my dream ending Moira would end up gone too but you can't have everything!

Kinda knew who was going to go as the actor who played James was on This Morning today and it came up that he was going to be in panto this Christmas, the actor who plays Paddy dropped a few hints that it wouldn't be him when he was on Lorraine earlier this week!

I think it would have been better if Rhona or Aaron had died - far more story options that way. I bloody hope that psycho Emma doesn't get away with this like she did the first time she tried to kill him

slinky - I didn't understand that either, I don't think for one second the staff would ignore the husband, just because Pierce declares he is next of kin. I didn't get the Moira cleavage.
And where was the big surprise when James has said for ages he was leaving.
Some of it was brilliant, but parts were dire
