The law is very clear that the woman who gives birth is the legal mother (donor egg or not). There's no way the intended mother would win a court case.

Also I thought you had to take a week off after giving birth so she never would have been able to go back after a week.

Actually I'd be surprised if a clinic would let a twin sister act as a surrogate for her brother. It would make family relationships strange and potentially not in the best interests of the child I would have thought.

This just annoys me, was he same with MrsT, they are all friends and colleagues and this bloke has just arrived, everyone at the mill would be on the side of their friends and not they new bloke if they actually spoke up. For sure Rhuma would sort Heston out and be on his side, Karen would she hates him too and I'm pretty sure al and Niamh would too. Daniel is a fool and Jimmi doesn't care.

Also, I think Heston is too proud to ask for help and TBFH is so sneaky and sly that he does it in private meetings in his office or Heston room not in staff room or reception

Apart from looking all caring in public "poor Heston we as a surgery must look after him" then stabs him in the back in private

Also TBFH has now got voting rights even though not a partner, he got them to give him that before the 6 months or whatever the time frame was supposed to be

I've heard of a sister being a surrogate mother (sister for sister iyswim) That sounds better than doing it for a brother, which sounds slightly incestuous. I thought that the pregnant lady was too young to be surrogate & usually isn't a (surrogate) woman supposed to have completed her own family as well?

told I did think that the surrogate should be someone who has had children, and is clear they don't want anymore. Makes sense to me. What if something happened during the birth meant she couldn't have her own children in the future. And she did seem young, makes you wonder how they came up with the arrangement.

Heston would have needed at least half an hour per driver-ridiculous to think he'd manage all that in 20 minutes. He does seem to be angrier than usual though- I think TBFH is pressing all his buttons, b*stard.

All the drivers were complex too so it made sure the clinic ran over. overinvested

Ruth was incredibly annoying receptionist who went mad and pretended she was a nurse and eventually ended up moving to America to work with Joe. She was the most annoying character in Doctors ever. Until now.

I'm annoyed at the surrogate story.
