I don't get the tearful Niamh thing either. She hardly knows the bloke; she should have more sense.

Is she preggers or not? If so, by whom? .

There's always the Dr Blake mysteries on BBC2 (at least there was today) as an alternative to the Bill Turnbull quiz. I always think Craig McLachlan has aged rather nicely...

The tearful Niamh was bollocks. She is supposed to be a doctor and yet she behaves like than when she meets a very ill child. It just proved that Al was right and she is not fit to be a doctor.

The Niamh storyline is total bollocks. Very disappointing.

kanga I'm sure I remember Niamh (in the show, not irl) moaning about being tired and run down, and wondering whether she was preggers. I think that was last week.

I'm still intrigued as to why DodgyDad has told Niamh that Al is his GP; surely Niamh will run it past Al? I'm not keen on Niamh, personally, so I'd be pleased if she went preggers or not. I don't think she comes over as particularly competent.

And yes, Barry was lovely today. Waaay too nice for Val. I was slightly bothered by the fact that his shirt was not neatly tucked in. I'd have expected better from him. And I was very unsettled by the way in which he shoved his rubbish into the glove box. Very un-Barry.

Will be attempting to watch live as off work with ds as he has The Pox. Maybe I should have a home visit

Chicken pox has been though nursery/reception twice in last year. dd2(5) still hasn't caught it. I was nearly 15, and my dad, 39 when we got them. We were both really ill.
