I thought she was right about the point on open boarders regarding people from outside the uk. I do think a lot of people voting on immigration do confuse the two.

As usual, I had to go to bed in a rage after 10 minutes of QT.

I switched over the second I saw Diane Abbot's boat race. Thank god I did for my sanity and the safety of the telly machine.

I'm no fan of D A at all but, as she went to my own old Oxbridge college which to give it its due is very much meritocratic, have to assume she isn't/ wasn't really stupid or she wouldn't have got in.
More likely that she's so arrogant she believes everything she says/ her prejudices must be right and doesn't apply her intelligence to questioning her own infallibility.

I made the mistake of watching the first twenty minutes.

I don't think she's stupid but I think she's canny rather than intelligent.

Her arrogance makes me think she's spent so much time lecturing and patronising rooms full of people too terrified of being called racist names to tell her to shut her cakehole and let someone else speak that she now believes she is The Oracle.
