best and worst kids tv youve been forced to watch?

So after being forced to watch all sorts of weird and (occasionally) wonderfull kids tv shows for the past 6 Years it strikes me that there is only one or two I don't actually mind watching Sofia the first which my dd LOVES and Ben and holly which I actually lol at
But the majority I find truely awful - Goldie and bear is my new rage inducer but there's plenty of others I can't stand - micky mouse, waybolu... And the controversial choice of Mr tumble runs for cover

What do other parents love and hate?

Don't mind Ben& Holly but i put that down to nanny plum and her straight talking ways.
Like dugee but i think thats the cheery music!

Hate bing. In one episode he pees on the floor 'by accident' which dd then thought it was ok to do.

Shows I can tolerate/enjoy slightly: Ben & Holly, Puffin Rock, Pingu, Hey Duggee, Nelly & Nora, Paw Patrol, Thomas (pref the old ones though with the model trains), Octonaughts, Nina

Shows I can't abide: Little Princess, Toot the Tiny Tugboat (just the annoying theme song really), Peppa Pig, Baby Jake, Grandpa In My Pocket, Bananas In Pj's, Lazy Town, Let's Play, Dinopaws, Dora - especially new Dora

No more cbeebies for me thank fuck as waybaloo sends me over the edge. And me too!
Didn't mind sofia the first/sheriff callie on disney jnr.
Only problem is now we are having to watch contstant repeats of masha and the bear. And wtf have they done to bob the builder!

Best: Total Drama Island - hysterically funny, Phineas and Ferb, Ben and Holly, Doodle Do

Worst: Dora, Diego, Barbie - Aaargh!

Ugh forgot about Bob. They always ruin the classics.

Hate Mr Maker, he gives my DC expectations. But I do rather like Operation Ouch, I find it quite interesting, and I'd definitely want my DC in case of emergency/first aid, they would definitely know what to do. I also rather liked Ooglies. Haven't seen it for ages, don't know if it's still on.

I love horrible histories and phineus and ferb.

I can tolerate balamory and old school Dora/Diego (sooooo many of them it was a while before we hit repeats but man that pirate one does me in "Isa turn the wheel, turn the wheel Isa)

Detest come outside and that woman who runs the nursery. (Me too?) as well as itng waybuloo teletubbies and boobah

Dangermouse, both old and new, is the dog's bollocks.

And yes, Ooglies was brilliant.

I do like Ben and Holly- I often have a little snort at the odd line. Peppa is tolerable but DD is borderline obsessed so we watch so much of it it grates a bit now I've seen each episode 450 times. I do laugh at Grampy Rabbit though... "I've got tales to tell!"

The Bubble Guppies and Team Oomozoomi can fuck off though and Gigglebitz, the Mr. Tumble sketch show where he dresses up as a woman more than feels needed for comedic purposes.

Horrible Histories and Octonauts are my favourites from the BBC.
Carrie and David's Pop Shop was the one thing I couldn't abide.

Has anyone seen the American dubbed Paw Patrol? It's horrific. Every single character has this high pitched, squeaky voice. They all sound identical! I can't stand it. It makes my teeth itch.

Talking of squeaking voices, Laura's Star was one that nearly drove me demented - fecking adult voices pretending to do high-pitched child voices - just NO!! Unbearable.

Best: Waffle the Wonder Dog, Mack & Molly (just so wholesome & sweet), Maddie's do they know? (She seems like she'd be a great friend & good around kids, plus the show actually covers interesting topics), JoJo & grangran (also wholesome).

Worst: swashbuckle, the newer version of big cook little cook (awful actors), Justin's house (cringe acting from the robot).

It might be best to start a new one I imagine things have changed since 2016 and this thread was resurrected accidentally by the looks…
