I reckon they're setting it up so that Anna tells Kev but Kev can't do anything as Phelan is still doing his garage work. this causes a rift between Anna and Kev with plenty of the old "Boo, Hiss, he's behind you" type over acting from Phelan too.
I can actually hear Phelan now saying,
"Now now Kev, i'd be careful there mate, wouldn't want anything to go wrong with the garage would you?" as he twirls his tash, sweeps his cape and disappears into the fog.

Are Kim Tate and Dev going to get together? her character is going nowhere fast.

not sure about Dev and Erica (I think thats her name?)
But the fewer story lines with Dev in the better, he is my least favourite character, so wooden and empty, that silly smile he often has makes me want to turn over.

Well Mary seems to be single again presuming Ted Robbins has gone.

I think there are a few characters they don't have a clue what to do with.

Dosnt make sense about Dev he has staff in kabab shop, yet chooses spent most of time in pokey shop with no windows that would kill me.

Surely he would employ someone least go work in the gym where he's busy and around people all day.

Fizz and Tyrone need to be on that minibus of doom for sure. Is that the end of Hope's health problems do we think?

Yes, have they actually explained where Maria is? It seemed odd that Luke took Audrey a gift without her. I imagine we are supposed to think she is in Cyprus with her parents but nobody has mentioned it and Liam is not around so he's missing school.

The writers need a pedantic superfan to help them with the inconsistencies.

I think Luke took gift as when he first arrived she thought he was quite nice looking and then he helped her few times over the car and they took a shine to each other. So woulnt be total put place for him to give her cheap box of chocolates.

I'm counting up the flowers from Tracey's. Carla had some , Ken got Audrey some. We got Valentine's Day coming up so that's prob half the street covered. Poor Dev going to go out of business

I like the actress that plays kim Tate...what ever... But the chsrachter they have given her is boring. She was great as Karen Betts in 'Bad girls' years ago, ut this role is just pathetic and she could be so much more

It drives me mad when they take over in the cafe ,just put their pinnies on smooth their hair and start serving.Would have thought Roy would be quite strict on things like hygiene.

Roy washes his hands, frequently. The sink is beyween the counter and the archway at the back. You often see him.washimg his hands and then drying them on his apron.

You occasionally see the lads in the garage wiping their hands on a rag.

I don't look out for it! Honest!

But yes in cafe, much wiping of tables not much covering of hair.

Yes, Anna, in particular, paws at her hair, then starts handling food. I don't think I have ever seen her washing her hands, in the cafe.

I agree about Kim Tate/ Erica, she is not getting a proper role. Hopefully that will change.

I'd forgotten who Erica was before until this thread kept mentioning Kim Tate. I had her in my fantasy soap opera league back on the Emmerdale days - she was always good for a fair few points.
