Surely not much longer to wait now until the new producer starts? Things must improve, mustn't they?

Hanging on by my fingernails at the minute.

And let's not forget Liz becoming irrationally paranoid over an afternoon and then accusing her of having an affair because she caught them drinking whiskey!

Sparklingbrook · 01/04/2016 21:28

That outburst of Liz's was totally out if character. Confused

Eastie77 · 01/04/2016 21:38

Why is Gary still living at Anna's anyway, sleeping on a couch in that horribly cramped flat. Doesn't he co-own a gym? Presumably he can therefore stump up the money to move into a flat/house share at least!

BoGrainger · 01/04/2016 21:39

Yes, Liz was a right old cowbag. No need for that.
Michelle's hair - 1/10

Akire · 02/04/2016 01:44

Tonight's was just werid - so you run the local pub you give your part time bar man night off (by the way seàn got to be richest person works two jobs lives in a spare room) you let the other part owner go off on her other job and then you go out as well!! Oh and your other part time staff has just had a baby.... Not going happen!

We need story with Liz why can't she start a book group or bingo anything!!!

Sophie and what's her face we all guessed months ago. How boring! Yes we get they are only gay women on the street but really can do without it thanks. ESP as it be yet another wedding standing at alter moment.

MissBattleaxe · 02/04/2016 07:30

agree with sparkling. Liz's rage was totally out of character and clumsily written.

millimat · 02/04/2016 08:32

I quite liked Michelles hair Blush

Seeyounearertime · 02/04/2016 08:46

I thought Michelle looked pretty good last night, though i admit i'm not a huge fan of her eyeliner most of the time. Sometimes she's gone a bit too Cleopatra. (there is a hint of jealousy there too though Grin)

millimat · 02/04/2016 08:51

Mmm I'm with you on the eyeliner wish I could apply eye liner like that

MadHattersWineParty · 02/04/2016 10:56

Oh the storyline between Sawphie and (what is her name?!) is SO lazy and we did all call it ages ago!

Sophie saying 'bezzotted ' was funny though!

PuppyMonkey · 02/04/2016 11:05

Just joining in this to say I bloody loved Mary and the stag do lads. Grin

Rachel0Greep · 02/04/2016 11:34

Why have the dumbed it down soooo much? Are we toddlers who need every storyline spoonfed with boulder sized hints?

Exactly. That is one of the many things I hate about it. We, the viewers, apparently have to be beaten over the head with 'clues'. On top of that there is ne'er a twist, or any spoiler kept secret. All you have to do is glance at the cover of soap magazines, in passing, while queueing in the supermarket, to know every storyline.

Just by comparison, to use two examples of what was done in Emmerdale, in the past year, someone came back (Ross), after being left for dead, in a ditch. And someone (Rachel) who had left the show returned to testify in court. Really good twists, which were kept from the viewer and really added to the storylines, in my opinion.

MadHattersWineParty · 02/04/2016 11:40

Agree with the above. The last 'gripping' storyline I can think of was Tina. And we knew who killed her.

The Callum stuff got boring, as did the fire that killed Kal because he was dicking about on the ladder making eyes at Leanne.

southeastdweller · 02/04/2016 11:46

The fire story had potential but it'd been well publicised that Kal and Maddie were leaving around this time so it was pretty easy to work out one or both of them would die because of the fire.

CandOdad · 02/04/2016 12:06

I suspect that originally Callum was going to be a twist with him turning up somewhere along the line. But now due to the actors issues he will have to stay in the hole till they need rid of Sarah, David or Kylie.

Perhaps a twist could be that Gail gets blamed and goes to prison for a bit while we all have a "free Gail whatever her name is this week" vigil.

MadHattersWineParty · 02/04/2016 12:22

I think the actress who plays Kylie is going on maternity leave again soon.

RudeElf · 02/04/2016 12:26

Yes i thougt she was looking bumpy too.

Rachel0Greep · 02/04/2016 13:03

Yes, Paula Lane is pregnant.

Link contains a spoiler of sorts...I think it was mentioned on the previous thread, but just in case...

eddiemairswife · 02/04/2016 13:26

What are the three businesses that Michelle is complaining about? As far as I can see, she works in The Rovers and does the wedding planning.

I don't think I can bear to watch either of the Gary/Izzie or Sophie/Katie/Caz stories.

RudeElf · 02/04/2016 13:27

I think Michelle is running the taxi can firm too in steve's absence.

I wont click link as dont want spoilers but i am guessing Kylie will be arrested for Callum's murder.

eddiemairswife · 02/04/2016 13:38

Has Michelle ever been seen at the taxi office? What about Sally? Does she now own part of the taxi firm?

RudeElf · 02/04/2016 13:47

Im a bit confused about tim and sally's roles in the taxi office. Did tim buy into the business? Or sally?

Nope never seen michelle there but just remember the whole thing of eileen pestering michelle about public liability insurance when she got back from seeing steve.

Akire · 02/04/2016 14:22

Sally had money she was going buy factory at one point or some of it. She bought half street cars for Tim.

RudeElf · 02/04/2016 14:23

Ahhh, thanks akire.

SymphonyofShadows · 02/04/2016 16:40

Didn't Sally have money from the divorce? Was it half of Kev's scratchcard win?
