I am reasonably sure that Nick rents in Victoria Court, there was a storyline about it when he was with Eva and she wanted to move in. Didn't Dev have a rental property there? Could be the same one.

I don't mind Erica but that puffed up treatment she has had on her face annoys me.

Thank God the O Driscolls have gone. What a ludicrous addition they were. Singing karoake at a dinner party so that Underworld would get their business? FGS. Whoever wrote them in should be fired.

Would love there to be a huge disaster to carry off a load of the current residents. From what I can remember, we've already had

A minibus crash
Gas explosion
Tram crash
Factory fire
Rovers burned down x10
Flat fire
Bistro fire (I think)
Serial killer

What disaster could we have to take out some dead wood? Gutted no one died as a result of minibus crash. That was a wasted dream ticket.

And don't forget the Whiff Whaff tournament that the business seemed to hinge on .....

Oh yes, how could I forget the ping pong business decider? It was ridiculous. Corrie has such a rich heritage, and they introduced some new Connors that nobody liked and wasted loads of screentime making them play ping pong with new business associates that nobody liked.

I'm hoping Phelan gets caught out in some sort of set up. Maybe a team affort by Todd and Anna. Probably after Phelan gives Todd a hiding but cunningly makes it so Todd cant tell anyone it was Phelan. Todd is out for revenge and knows Anna is the only one who can get Phelan to "confess" to the rape. So they set it up. Video it ir make Eileen somehow witness it without Phelan realising. Or maybe Phelan will try and assault Eileen?

I hope Todd using his genius cunning to catch Phelan out. I much prefer nice Todd to evil Todd. He is so wily he could give us viewers a very satisfying double crossing sort of finale for Phelan.

Yes Todd, use your powers for good! i think if Todd wanted to he could finish both Tracey and Phelan off for good, never to find redemption on the cobbles. He is very sly.

I like Phelan but can't imagine him staying long term.

I'd like to see a 6 month ban on bringing in new characters. There doesn't appear to be any thought about their development. The O'Driscolls came and went, ditto Marta. There's Aliya's 'best' friend and Caz and Sadie's husband. Write some good, non-sensational stories about existing characters and restore some quality to the programme.

So who can guess whats going to happen with Izzy? Its a mystery

Yes 70. I think he is also an old school friend of michelle's. I'm anticipating an affair in steve's absence.

Just found this thread and realised that have not watched Corrie for several months - used to not miss an episode in...40 ish? years...

The Tracey/Carla thing is sooooo annoying. Nick slept with his brother's wife. Surely he above all people could be made to understand that things happen at times of emotional stress (like you've just found a new father!), and could have got over it.

Carla should come clean - and Anna should have done about Phelan yonks ago!

I find I don't need to watch much at the moment, thankfully. I just read the Digital Spy spoilers

I've been losing patience with Corrie for months now (having watched it and loved it for 30 years), but after last night's I think I've had it. What was all that crap with Izzy? Really badly done, it was like amdram.

Perhaps its worth getting a no spoilers bit put on the heading so we don't get any more? I don't think this one is massive though, he's already left hasn't he?

I keep up mostly via Digital Spy. I wish the writers / producer had come up with a decent storyline for Carla's departure, instead of this endless nonsense with Tracy.
