Just read that Maria is returning from Cyprus with a refugee boyfriend. (and a superb post-baby body!).

Oh no! Was hoping they had fogot she existed she's so dull! How's she been affording the rent? Will her job be magically open?

Possibly Audrey will cut down her workload after her angina attack leavng David in charge.

Actually, don't worry about... I don't care. She'll no doubt disappear as quickly as she sprang up.

I think there's going to be a storyline with Zeedan and pretty new nurse (although I thought he was gay).

The Carla/Nick thing going to Devon is ridiculous. What will they do there? Paddle? Again, no thought, no business plan, no nothing. I could understand New York, London or somewhere. Not Devon.

Devon! That made me laugh. I suppose we'll hear snippets from Gail about how they've opened a twee little tea-shop and have taken up sailing.

I still enjoy Corrie, but it feels very disjointed these days without much thought. A bit free for all by the writers!

She is a nurse so presume she's been living at home or at hospital digs. She's young ambitious so of course she's going to give up hospital career to deal with piles asthma and blood pressure every day at the surgery!

Presume Nick won't be leaving with Carla. There will be a messy tearful scene where he finds out about Robert - just as they are preparing to leave for Devon.

Most of the current storylines are nonsensical.

I'm sure I remember Sally asking Kevin for a loan not too long ago when she needed money for something or other (to buy part of Underworlds?) but now she is suddenly able to conjure up £££ at the drop of a hat to buy half of streetcars!

Simon wants to go and stay with his dad so pensioner Ken drops everything to drive hundreds of miles in the middle of the night rather than just waiting until the following morning. Makes perfect sense.

Eva calling homeless shelters to try and find the slave girl. This would be the same slave girl who hid in the factory apparently terrified for her life, too scared to leave the building. So completely credible that she would now walk into a shelter and give them her real name etc.
