Amber and her boyfriend are always slobbing around on their massive couch. Even back in the old days when she was with Gary she was always in bed or on the sofa while Leah just amused herself. Gary is just getting bigger and bigger, I would worry for his health.

All of the people in the OG series just seem so negative. I also don't like the new way it is filmed showing the producers etc.

Like I say I'm way too invested in it!

I read that Tyler goes to a strip club for his stag do despite Catelynn not being entirely happy with it

Doesn't he have likeloads of kids? I saw in one of the preview things him asking amber how many kids he has and she says 4 or something and Gary says no he has 8 or something like that

Agree caitlyn and Tyler don't work, all their income is from being TV personalities. Although butch actually looks healthy now he's off the drugs, so does her mum.

Sad that Amber was high for most if the series and people didn't know. Also angry at mar for supporting Amber in not getting treatment for bi-polar. Agree that Leah just eases who she's with at the time as she feels caught in the middle. Gary is a heart attack waiting to happen. Loved his Gary condoms flopped!

I think they get money from the show and interviews and book deals, although i don't think they get massive amounts cause when maci was buying her house they were talking about money and if they could afford it, and kail and javi are always arguing about child support her bf I think has a job.
Caitlyn does talks about adoption I think not sure if she gets paid for it though.
I think maci and her bf have jobs because sfe said they had to take jade to daycare quickly before Bentley had school cause they needed to get to work

I LOVE Kailyn, I think she's done really well for herself. Granted they all had a leg up financially from the show but it must be pretty shit having all the internet gossip about you etc. I wonder if they are given access to financial advisors and stuff? Because I'm sure some of them could have easily gone (even more) off the rails with all the money they were given.
Also I wonder how they were selected between 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom - they obviously picked different kinds of families for a broad view but I wonder if they took into consideration how the individuals might cope with all the filming and stuff. Because they haven't had anyone drop out (except Maci momentarily) or turn in to massive junkies (as far as we know although some seem to be treading a fine line!).

Sorry went off on a tangent! But Kailyn has a job, is doing a degree, has 2 kids and a husband in the marines - I think she seems to be coping with all that quite well! But obviously we don't know what is going on behind the scenes. Jenelle seems to be turning things around although she has shit taste in men. Think she's training to be a dentist assistant or something. Maci and Taylor have started a clothing line. Farrah has a restaurant apparently! Farrah is the only one who i really dislike actually, but it is bloody sad that Derek died and her parents are awful.

They also all do shitloads of sponsored ads on social media which I think must bring in more money!

It's like the Kardashians though - if there's a market for their show, which there clearly is, why wouldnt they do it and make money from it.

Farrah is just a fucking vile person. The way she speaks to people is atrocious especially her mum. Why the producers brought her back is beyond me because from what I can see she doesn't have 1 redeeming quality about her.

Maci is my favourite. Very down to earth and is all about her kids. I agree with her cutting weekends because why should Bentley go there if Ryan isn't going to be around?

Amber has had a lot of issues and I do feel sorry for her to an extent but like a previous poster said she needs to stop whining about stuff and get off her arse and do something about it. Matt is creepy and he just wants the fame I think. Gary is awful.

Tyler and Caitlynn are a cute couple but Tyler can come across as a bit of a dick. So glad Butch is back though. Fingers crossed he stays clean.

I think the prpducers have done a good job of supporting them, its nice that they all seem to be friends and amber said she got letters from the MTV team when she was in prison, it would have been quite easy for them to have taken advantage of the girls but it seems like they did a good job of that side of things

I thought ambers bf Matt was quite well off anyway. When he moved in didn't he have loads of pics of famous people he claimed to have worked with?

Thought Caitlin's wedding dress looked beautiful-can't wait for the wedding. (Got a feeling I'm going to cry)

Really don't like Farrah-don't think she can talk to anyone nicely.Cant believe she doesn't let any of the production staff use her toilet so they have a portable one on her drive!

I watch this too. I found the episodes where c & T had their little girl adopted the most heart breaking thing I think I've ever watched. That girl has the head of a 40 year old. She's so mature. I greatly admire her.
Amber et al makes me so sad - the dysfunctional relationship with them all is so depressing and I feel for their poor children. And yes the bloke is obviously just there because he wants to be on TV.

It's great TV but also very depressing. Gary makes me the most upset - everything he does is manipulative but it's like a 5 year old manipulating - so full of self importance too. Really thinks he's God's gift. Bluergh.

I rewatched caitlyn and Tyler's 16 and pregnant episode the other day, its absolutely heartbreaking but they're so grown up they just knew her childhood would end up like there's if they kept her, but they really broke the cycle. Carly will probably see it one day and know how much they love her, it all makes me want to cry!

Agree, Catelynn is so so mature. Really amazing. Can't believe she turned out so welly oven her family's circumstances. Glad April and Butch seem to be sorting themselves out too, don't think they're bad people at all!
