Yes to repeating the same stories. How many closet gay love triangle beard stories have we had now? Sayed and Christian and Amira, Steven and Stacey and Christian, Tiffany her boyfriend and her brother.... (Yawn)

Babies galore : Ollie Pearl Arthur Matthew have I missed one?

Primary school age : Lilly and Denny though he's got to be least 10 now. Oh Billy's kids Janet and ?

High school : Rebecca but isn't she 17? Bobby (may or not see again)

Where are all the teens coming from? Once Rebecca is 18 next oldest is an 11 y old.

Considering the only thing stopping Ben being open about his sexuality was his dad, now he's decided he wants nothing to do with his dad what's stopping him? He has the support of his mum, brother (Jay), stepmom and a rather nice boyfriend.
He doesn't seem remotely interested in his daughter with Lola. He can still be with Paul and be a father to his baby with Abi.

I could never understand why Abi started going out with Ben, because she must have known he was gay as she has been friends with him for years. I actually thought her relationship with Jay was quite sweet, and they seemed to work well together as a couple. She seems to be a stronger character then.

The present Ben incarnation is the best out of all the actors that has played him.

Has no one mentioned that Fatboy has disappeared yet? Surely someone would have reported him missing?

We instantly recognised Jay's new girlfriend but couldn't place her. A bit of googling made us realise she was Carmen from Tracey Beaker.

It would be lovely for Jay and new girl to just be happy together and carry on as a lot of boys and girls do,be together, go out, have fun etc. but this is EE , so i know its unlikely!

As for Ben and Abi, has never been right at all!

I reckon they'll write Natalie Cassidy's pregnancy into the show. Her nutty girlfriend is broody so maybe they'll get a sperm donor.

I've just realised this is the third fake pregnancy in the show I can remember. Phil had that girlfriend played by the Shameless actor who faked being pregnant. Until she got caught buying tampons, then she claimed she'd had a miscarriage.

On friday Denise was wearing a grey cable knit jumper. It was really nice and despite a look on line etc i cannot see anything the same! Anyone help? She is a lot thinner than me, will need to be a large. It didnt look home knitted, but might have been.
i dont remember Phil with g/ friend pretending to pregnant, was it Rainie Tanya's sister? He did have a fling with her. ( took drugs together, classy)
i guess Dot and the others bought the Fatboy story. Shame, as i liked him, was hoping he may not be dead after all.

Seems that Lucas will come back now Jordan and son are back in her life. Denise will get sucked in again i think! Not sure how he will get out though.

She was just before Phil and Shirl got together. Tried to knick a load of money from the vic but Shirley burnt it instead. I remember her planting the xmas cracker paternity test too.

I don't think Abi is pregnant. She's just desperate to hold on to Ben and this is Babe's mad idea to humiliate her help her do it. The Branning family is so dysfunctional that I think Abi just craves a "normal" family life, not sure Ben and the Mitchell's will satisfy that need somehow

I agree, these frequent fake pregnancy stories send out a message of women being a bit mad, desperate, untruthful, duplicitous, manipulative and cruel.

Yet in real life I have never in all my decades ever known of anyone who has done this. Not ever. Not in my circle, or large workplaces, or even by repute in my home town where gossip is rife.

Mrsjayy, the soapstyle web was fascinating. Had a few of Denises' s tops but not the grey jumper :( didnt know such a site existed.
I dont know how Abi hopes to carry on her facade really, unless she hopes to become pregnant straight away and Ben doesnt seem that keen on her anymore! Lol. It will just make him more detemined to leave her. Silly girl.
I wonder if J J's mum will show up now?
