I think Jean is in Brighton coz the writers know how OTT the actress is and she'd ruin all the great work that Stacey and Martin are doing

Actually I think Jean is very well portrayed. She's got that twitchy inappropriateness just right. Gillian Wright does a great job.

I love her as an actress, I think it's the character that's quite OTT (for obvious reasons), but if she's on screen, it does tend to become the Jean show iykwim?

I think thats the point of jean she takes over I thought she was great with Martin the other night she was raging he hadnt got stacey to hospital as we all were

I felt sorry for Martin. he was out of his depth, had never done this before and was desperately sorry for Stacey. Remember that they stretched out one day over four episodes so she hadn't actually been ill for as long as it seemed to us. He was great at getting her to the hospital in the end. James Bye has really grown on me.

Nancy could have easily taken out Whitney and tbh LEE gave a pathetic chase

Whitney will prob simper round mick and go in for a kiss while crying .,,,,

Why is Jane so worried over £25k over all the people on the square Ian is the richest. Her owns restaurant and fish n chip shop and cafe and stall. If you can afford £30 k a year in fees then £25k small change!

Yes surely mik had plenty of experience in the pub trade of drunken women/men throwing themselves on his charm! Ok so it's slightly surprising is sons girlfriend but you first reaction would be to move still!

That's one of stable things about mik family family loves Linda never been with anyone else. Why oh why spoil it now.

Amidst all the deception and secrets going on with the Mitchells, Stacey et al what a breath of fresh air to see a relationship functioning properly - Mick taken aback by Whitney's lunge but immediately tells Linda; Linda makes it clear to Whitney that she knows. And they were both really nice to her (W), given the circumstances.

Wtf was the big deal with Mick's glasses and why on earth did so many people have to point it out and laugh about it! I thought the days where people with glasses got called names etc were long gone. As a glasses wearer from the age of 10, I found it a bit insulting tbh.
