U.K. Scandal has just began and I can't wait for my catch up.

Not looking forward to the president and Olivia's relationship.

Jake is hot. Who remembers the beginning of season 4 in Madagascar or somewhere near there? Probably for the finale they go off into the sunset leaving fitz old and grey with 20 year old.

Sally is no different to most of the American Christian fundamentalist. Do as I say but don't do as I do. Sarah palin is prime example.

i'm just watching the end of S2 now, and its funny seeing all the Greys actors popping up

Ellis Grey (Merediths Mum) / Sally Langston
Jake Ballard / Henry Burton
Cyrus Beene (Jeff Perry) / Thatcher Grey
Abby Whelan (Darby Stanchfield) / Private Practise

Quinn (Katie Lowes) / She played an unnamed blood donor in Season 7 of “Grey’s Anatomy,” after a brief stint as Kendra Walker in “Private Practice,” a young mother desperate to get pregnant after her five-month-old son died from being forgotten in the back seat of the car.

Mellie Grant, but ShondaLand fans may remember her from “Private Practice” (and its crossover episode with “Grey’s Anatomy”) as Kathy, a wife angry with her husband because he’s lost his sex drive

Newbern has racked up the fans as lovable hitman Charlie on “Scandal,” but he first arrived at ShondaLand via “Grey’s Anatomy” as Stan Mercer, a kidney transplant recipient in Miranda Bailey’s (Chandra Wilson) domino surgery in Season 5 who is caught cheating on his wife and puts the surgery in jeopardy. Newbern appeared later in “Private Practice” as Dr. Brian Reynolds, an oncologist at St. Ambrose Hospital who consults on Dr. Addison Montgomery’s (Kate Walsh) ovarian cancer patient.

Joshua Malina -Before landing a cushy starring role in “Scandal” as United States Attorney General David Rosen, he previously had minor gigs in “Grey’s” as Seth Hammer, a guy who must provide his wife with a fecal transplant after she orders medications off the Web and they wipe out her immune system, and as Jason in “Private Practice,” a father who wants to euthanize his sick daughter.

Before he was Leo Bergen, the conniving Republican campaign consultant to Sally Langston (Kate Burton), Adelstein had a starring role in “Private Practice” (and “Grey’s Anatomy,” thanks to a few crossover episodes) as Cooper Freedman, a pediatrician at Seaside Health and Wellness.

While Weil now stars as Bonnie Winterbottom on “How To Get Away With Murder,” she got her start in Shondaland as Alison Clark, a former rower in Izzie’s (Katherine Heigl) chemotherapy group who succumbed to cancer in Season 5. She later appeared in “Private Practice” as Andi, a young woman suffering from Multiple Personality Disorder, then again as Amanda Tanner in “Scandal,” a pregnant White House intern.

James Novak - Bucatinsky appeared in one episode of “Grey’s” as the husband of an opera singer who is afraid of losing his voice.
The accomplished actress made a brief appearance in the fourth episode of “Private Practice” as Sylvie, an elderly woman whose fiancé keeps passing out. She returned to “Grey’s Anatony” as Owen Hunt’s mother for two episodes in 2009, before landing the role of Verna Thornton, a Supreme Court Justice murdered by President Fitz Grant (Tony Goldwyn) on the first season of “Scandal.”

Samantha Sloyan - Penny in GA, She played a recurring role as a White House employee named Jeannine Locke in the first three seasons of Scandal. S

Wow! Who had the time to put all of that together?

OP posts:
CallieTorres · 15/01/2016 22:50

I got most of it from Google!

oneowlgirl · 16/01/2016 08:28

I enjoy seeing the crossover actors as I love all of Shondas shows (although less fussed on How to get away with murder).

I'm just re-reading this thread & it says unthread that this is loosely based on a real person - is that true?

I can't believe Rowan is out - I hate all the B613 stuff. I also wanted David Rosen to get with the VP & not blondie (Portia de Rossi - can't remember her characters name).

Think Cyrus might try to get rid of Olivia? I love her now being 'President'!! Totally loved the rapist getting his comeuppance too!

Can you tell I'm enjoying this season Grin

Debbriana1 · 16/01/2016 10:22

Oneowl, Cyrus, Millie and Olivia are the dream team. They do anything and everything to gain what they want. Am glad Millie has pushed Olivia to taking the job.

The one person I feel sorry is Cyrus. He is like a great wife behind a powerful husband. Doing all the ground work and connections and when your fired the equivalent to a divorce your left with nothing.

It will be interesting how his story will develop. Am bored of Olivia's dad the man has more the nine lives. Am bored of b613, the president and not being able to open his mouth to say words loud and clearly. Now that is annoying. When watching I feel like screaming speak up Fitz.

OP posts:
oneowlgirl · 16/01/2016 12:16

I feel the same Deb!

MrsJayy · 18/01/2016 11:57

Fitz is such a feeble President Olivia is loving running the country putting Cyrus's nose out of joint hate Rowan out of jail Mellie is fab though I'm all for Mellie as president

Casmama · 23/01/2016 00:50

Olivia and Fitz have the most dysfunctional relationship. Him moving her into the white house without discussion was really creepy and almost like he knew she couldn't object after what she had just done.
Qute pleased in a way that Huck has a chance to confront Rowan but I hope someone else steps in before it all goes wrong.

MrsJayy · 23/01/2016 10:14

I know moving her in was really creepy its a power shift and fitz knew it I hope she leaves him can't see olivia doing the first lady ribbon cutting thing

oneowlgirl · 23/01/2016 16:30

I found it very creepy too - like he owns her now & she's imprisoned in the White House. Will be interesting to see how it pans out & if she manages to rescue herself or if she'll need help from Rowan.

CallieTorres · 26/01/2016 19:13

i'm on Season 3/ep 18

still can't work out what the deal about the kidnapping was!?!

oneowlgirl · 29/01/2016 00:17

Yeah - she's free! Who was the guy Jake shot in the head? He looked like Harrison to me but I assume not?? What is the Lazarus thing??

Loving Mellie - would love if she & Olivia joined forces! Also loving the VP!

CallieTorres · 29/01/2016 07:11

That was the guy that Rowan pit in to Olivias life, who tried to kill jake

I've got to the end of season 4, and I think I'll wait for season 5 to finish before going on

MrsJayy · 29/01/2016 09:14

I was watching the news about the presidential race and i called Hilary Clinton Mellie Blush

oneowlgirl · 29/01/2016 17:34

That explains why I recognised him, thanks Callie. Totally loving Mellie!

Iggi999 · 29/01/2016 23:47

I wasn't expecting that ending at all. Not popular in America at all id think, can't think of any lead characters who've had abortions.
Oh actually Carrie Bradshaw mentions one.

quencher · 07/03/2016 23:21

New scandal. Does Olivia's dad want her to be president ?

Adventuregame · 09/03/2016 16:03

Or does she get 'in' with Mellie via writing this book with her and end up being her Chief of Staff when she becomes President ? Just a thought !

quencher · 09/03/2016 16:44

Good idea. I didn't think of that. The series gets to continue.

oneowlgirl · 08/04/2016 23:04

Really enjoyed this weeks episode - seemed like it was more back on form. Here's hoping it continues!
