From the choices- Ché has the best of a very bad bunch, imo. I love 'Try a little Tenderness'. But I get the feeling he may over do it.

thered- I had all the copies of Select, and the free cassettes that came with them. The first one had Prince on the cover iirc, and a great cassette with The Lilac time on it. Those were the days when I could afford to spend money on magazines . No wonder I ended up working in a record shop where I could read them for free.

Melody Maker was another I loved. Long gone now.

The NME should be folding any day now.
