Heaven help us.

Apparently, one song has been chosen by the public (when? how? ) and the other by their mentor.

Here they are-

Ché Chesterman
Hello - Adele (chosen by the public on Twitter)
Try A Little Tenderness - Otis Redding (chosen by Nick)

Lauren Murray
Firestone - Kygo ft. Conrad Sewell (chosen by the public on Twitter)
You Don't Own Me - Grace ft. G-Eazy (chosen by Rita)

Louisa Johnson
Love Yourself - Justin Bieber (chosen by the public on Twitter)
Jealous - Labrinth (chosen by Rita)

Reggie 'N' Bollie
Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) - Silentó (chosen by the public on Twitter)
Dynamite - Taio Cruz (chosen by Cheryl)

4th Impact
I'll Be There - Jackson 5 (chosen by the public on Twitter)
Fancy Rich Girl - Gwen Stefani & Eve VS Iggy Azalea & Charli XCX (chosen by Cheryl)

NIce to see mash-us haven't been forgotten - it's a typical Binbag choice.

From the choices- Ché has the best of a very bad bunch, imo. I love 'Try a little Tenderness'. But I get the feeling he may over do it.

I am still recovering, and feel like I have been run over by tram. Plus I made the mistake of going Christmas shopping. I had to buy Ariana Grande perfume for my niece.

See y'all later Grin

Slithy , 80s- I can see it now. [santa]

Maybe they have a job in a grotto they need to get to?

Night all, see you next week.

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 29/11/2015 21:02

Night everyone! It's been fun.

Roussette · 29/11/2015 21:02

A bit much that Simon was on the stage talking intently to them about the contract he is setting up for them as the show is finishing. Grin

Raahh · 29/11/2015 21:02

I do think if SpagBollie get to the final, there will have to be a rapid re-think on the winner's single, just for them.

OP posts:
Raahh · 29/11/2015 21:04

Rousette- yy, the ink will not be dry on their contract. They won't be mainstream- but he will make a fortune pimping them out to parties in the Middle east where they pay mega bucks for appearance fees for a 5 minute show.

Raahh, si turns pimp shocker!
Is it Lional week next time?
He was good at Glasto this year
' say you, say me ' is a classic..
See ya all soon, xx luffs ya

Raahh · 29/11/2015 22:21

Oh, I have had a horrible thought.

SpgBollie will do 'Dancing on the Ceiling' won't they? They will probably fly into the studio or something. I will cry. There will be 'carnival atmosphere'. Lots of Bingo potential.

Or they might do 'Sela'

Aeroflot will do 'Hello' . Just to prove he knows the word.

Louisa17 Will do 'Easy' (not a solo effort, but it will suit her)

Gobby will do 'Endless Love' even though it is meant to be a duet. her gob is big enough for 2.

of course, it is all a tease and the theme will be 'Whatever song Simon heard on the radio on his way in' or something.

And I have just read that FaintyBinBag collapsed again last night. Hmm. The cynic in me thinks she likes the attention (since she has managed to perform perfectly well at all other times). Best she goes home and gets proper medical attention, I think. I'm sure Simon will cover the bills.

This thread is really offensive. It's like a load of taxi cab drivers have just joined MN to be nasty about people on the telly.

Calling people binbags is just wrong.

LineyReborn · 30/11/2015 11:25

Deidre, it's what Olly calls them. He actually pronounces 4th Impact as '4 binbags'. I don't know why, but he does. It's explained at length in the thread.

squoosh · 30/11/2015 11:27

'This thread is really offensive. It's like a load of taxi cab drivers have just joined MN to be nasty about people on the telly.'

Bit of an offensive generalisation about taxi drivers there Deirdre........

DeirdreDoo · 30/11/2015 11:28

I know it's from the pronunciation but it still comes across as really offensive. It's not just that - calling people Gobby and other things, I don't know but it reads like a braying mob. It really does. And I am sure you are nice people IRL but this is just so yuk to read.

It's Ok, carry on, I can hide it. I just couldn't pass a comment like the one about blowing them off the stage and not say something Sad

They are sweet girls; they don't deserve this abuse.

LineyReborn · 30/11/2015 11:31

What about taxi drivers? Do they deserve it?

squoosh · 30/11/2015 11:33

You hide it diddums.

And go shout abuse at a taxi driver.

DeirdreDoo · 30/11/2015 11:35

Diddums? Hmm

Okay, yes definitely very happy to hide this. Cheerio.

Colliejollychristmas · 30/11/2015 11:36

Those poor taxi drivers!

squoosh · 30/11/2015 11:37

Well of course you're happy to hide it. Otherwise you'd have to explain why you're happy to be rude about all taxi drivers whilst telling us off for being rude about people.

Colliejollychristmas · 30/11/2015 11:41

Think we found a 4th Impact voter....

Confused
Raahh · 30/11/2015 12:05

Can I just say that the poster on a different thread who thinks Chezza is very talented- is not me. Shock .They do have a similar name. I felt the need to clear up the confusion, in case anyone sees it and thinks I've lost the plot. Grin

Thank you.

Happy St Andrew's day.

Recently I needed to get a taxi, whilst my car was ill.

I had to get dd2 to school (beginning of year half day shenanigans), and then come home, - and he turned up in a mini busGrin. He stuck round for the half hour that the school kept me waiting, and didn't charge me extra. He was lovely. And I see him around quite often, and he always waves when he drives past.

I doubt he watches X Factor.

OP posts:
The80sweregreat · 30/11/2015 12:16

Most cabbies are lovely round these parts, chatty, helpful and mostly just moan about the cost of running their cabs! ( which i usually sympathise with) its the bus drivers that are miserable, even though 90 percent of folk say thanks as they depart, even the school kids! The female ones are nicer. Its a horrible job, but the passengers i see do make an effort to be polite to them.
They cant raise a smile on the routes i use!

Roussette · 30/11/2015 13:19

Raahh I knew it wasn't you, you've got more taste Grin

Raahh · 30/11/2015 13:49

phew, Rousette. Grin

He/she has now started another thread in the FWR section. Clearly didn't get the answers she wanted in AIBUGrin
