Heaven help us.

Apparently, one song has been chosen by the public (when? how? ) and the other by their mentor.

Here they are-

Ché Chesterman
Hello - Adele (chosen by the public on Twitter)
Try A Little Tenderness - Otis Redding (chosen by Nick)

Lauren Murray
Firestone - Kygo ft. Conrad Sewell (chosen by the public on Twitter)
You Don't Own Me - Grace ft. G-Eazy (chosen by Rita)

Louisa Johnson
Love Yourself - Justin Bieber (chosen by the public on Twitter)
Jealous - Labrinth (chosen by Rita)

Reggie 'N' Bollie
Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) - Silentó (chosen by the public on Twitter)
Dynamite - Taio Cruz (chosen by Cheryl)

4th Impact
I'll Be There - Jackson 5 (chosen by the public on Twitter)
Fancy Rich Girl - Gwen Stefani & Eve VS Iggy Azalea & Charli XCX (chosen by Cheryl)

NIce to see mash-us haven't been forgotten - it's a typical Binbag choice.

From the choices- Ché has the best of a very bad bunch, imo. I love 'Try a little Tenderness'. But I get the feeling he may over do it.

I am still recovering, and feel like I have been run over by tram. Plus I made the mistake of going Christmas shopping. I had to buy Ariana Grande perfume for my niece.

See y'all later Grin

What does Ariana Grande perfume smell like Raahh?

Hello, please marking for later. I've been shopping today too, fool that I am.

Raahh · 28/11/2015 16:42

thred- fortunately it is in a box. I did not ask to smell itGrin.

I'm imagining something cloyingly sweet, with vanilla accents Grin. (I have just looked it up- for research purposes (!) and apparently it smells of marshmallows. (Nice). I will sit far away from dniece on Boxing day Grin.

It comes with a white pom-pom.

I was actually quite surprised at how quiet the Trafford Centre appeared- this has always been the busiest retail weekend (before they tagged a label onto it). I imagine a lot of people went on-line.

I've just put the tree up. I know this is an MN cardinal sin, but we always put it up the first weekend of December (which it nearly isGrin). And furthermore, I like it, and I don't care .

Marshmallows you say?
Well, that does sound delightful.

My Christmas shopping destination was rammed today, you had to do the shoppers shuffle.

I'm going to get my decs up tomorrow too shameless

Raahh · 28/11/2015 18:01

I even listened to the Phil Spector Christmas album whilst putting it up. Because it isn't Christmas tree decorating time without it. I know he is a murdering loon, but that's not Darlene Love's fault. [santa]

I no longer listen to Gary Glitter though .

Is there a reason [santa] is hiding? Will he appear fully after the first?

Xmas Grin

How did you get the santa grin? Do you think you can use that once you've put your tree up? It's like magic.

nancy75 · 28/11/2015 18:38

Evening all, well reading that list just confirms the majority of the general public should never be able to decide anything, ever.
The person that made the whip nae nae song should be incarcerated for crimes against music and Adele records could be sold instead of sleeping pills.
Why didn't we get to vote?
We could have had 4 bin bags doing a boney m medley, reggae & wally doing agadoo, chef could have shut uppa your face and both girls could do the birdie song.
Who wouldn't want to watch that line up?

nancy75 · 28/11/2015 18:39

Please excuse all the silly names I have bestowed upon the singers, autocorrect on my phone hates me

Raahh · 28/11/2015 19:18

That would have been a brilliant line up , Nancy

Evening. We have OH's mum staying this weekend so I don't think I'll be able to join in the bitching critical appraisals on this thread, more's the pity.

Raahh · 28/11/2015 20:00

We will keep up the bitching critical appraisal for you, Noisy.

Juske box night,ffs.

Pick anything you want, then.

Bet Simon is happier this week - no more pretending to like his own acts.

Caroline has forgotten her frock.

loopsylala · 28/11/2015 20:01

is flack wearing a negligee?

squoosh · 28/11/2015 20:02

Jukebox night? Hmm

Such meaningless themes this year.

Gimme some goddamn O Holy Night Crimboness please.

Raahh · 28/11/2015 20:02

loosy- it would appear do. Someone leant her their jacket.

OP posts:
Colliejollychristmas · 28/11/2015 20:02

Hellooooo! Hope you are all well.

Right, I don't want to see anymore Reg & Balls "knees up mother brown" dancing.

Flacks "serious" face is hilarious

squoosh · 28/11/2015 20:03

That slashed to the navel look that Rita is sporting is very J-Lo circa 2001. When she was hanging out with Puff Daddy as was.

Raahh · 28/11/2015 20:04

squoosh I saw the bloody binbags singing 'O holy night' the other day.
Angry

only Nat King Cole, or Cartman are allowed to sing itGrin

OP posts:
squoosh · 28/11/2015 20:04

Olly says 'interesting' whilst looking anything but interested.

squoosh · 28/11/2015 20:05

Oh good grief Raah, sounds horrific. The binbags bumping and grinding all over O Holy Night is not what I had in mind at all!

Raahh · 28/11/2015 20:05

Collie- I think it is time R and B left, really. The 'filling the stage with people and turning up the backing' is only funny for so long. not very

OP posts:
Colliejollychristmas · 28/11/2015 20:06

Haha! squoosh

Wish Louisa would stop microphone tapping.

Raahh · 28/11/2015 20:06

squoosh- the fraction I saw was as bad as you would imagine.

They have told Louisa to move this week, then?

OP posts:
Raahh · 28/11/2015 20:07

mic tapping is only slightly less annoying than the 'claw'.

Bieber is getting some mileage out of this series.

It's a bit sharp in places.
