New thread for more random chat about the jungle.

Make yourselves comfy and avoid the dunny.

i reckon Yvette will be evicted by the public

JAPAB · 27/11/2015 11:17

Tshirtgate was beyond ridiculous.

I like the fact that she informed Ferne that she couldn't understand the issue because at 25 she was inexperienced in life. What was to understand? The names were listed in a random order, there was no "number 1", and the clothes-collector was chosen arbitrarily and it was just coincidence that for the other groups this was the person listed first.

There again, although older than Ferne I am also younger than Lady C so maybe I am missing the point also :)

ENtertainmentAppreciated · 27/11/2015 11:32

I think Yvette will probably go and she'd be my choice to leave anyway.

I miss the games too. Apart from seeing how people cope and how they interact I want them to be set more challenges not trials. The trials are very old hat and have been for years.

Just out of interest, for SW ref Phil Tufnell mentioned on the previous thread, I reckon he's done one of the best actually. He's much more savvy than his public image would lead you to believe.

In addition to the jobs mentioned by PP (BBC The One Show, team captain on Question of Sport) he's done other various reality type shows, Strictly Come Dancing, The Jump ... ok he was first out but he would still have got paid and is always around other bits of one off TV e.g. At Home With Steph and Dom. He writes books, has his autobiography out and paints ... his artwork seems to all be of stylized cats, but his cricket nickname was The Cat so that ties in quite nicely commercially. On top of all that he's a permanent member of BBC's Test Match Special radio commentary team and travels the world with them (so something going on nearly all the time) has a sometime R5 cricket show with Michael Vaughan, does voice over work, brand ambassador roles and after dinner speaking as well. Phew!

I don't know what else Joe Swash does apart from the once a year ITV2 spin off programme and if I did know I'd be actively avoiding it.

findingmyfeet12 · 27/11/2015 11:38

For someone who claimed not to care about the opinions of either the public or her fellow campmates, Lady C sure wanted to be the one to collect the tshirts.

Also when they were all starving and eating the rice and beans none of them pointed out that if Tony and Jorgie had done the chambermaid and bellboy tasks they would at least have had something from the dispenser.

Presumably if they'd done the task, Lady C would've done the trial too?

It would be boring without her but then we won't know because they others don't ever get a look in. It should be renamed 'the Lady C conflict show - how many ways can one person piss people off.' Or 'How to make friends and influence people by Lady C'

It's very rich her saying how much Brian loves the limelight, she LOVES it! I bet most of this is her way of guaranteeing herself a lot of airtime as she'll know the producers will love the conflict. I'm getting really bored of it but I love Ant and Dec so will stick with it.

Did anyone see 'Get Out of Here Now' last night? They had bloke from Geordie Shore who made interesting comments.

FreakinScaryCaaw · 27/11/2015 13:09

I saw Now and thought the Geordie Shore lad was awful. Did you hear his comment that he'd go in if there were lasses in there who looked good without make up? Plus he's vile about Vicky. Fair enough he doesn't like hre but he was really pushing it. She will have another side to her no doubt but he was going on about it.

A friend of Lady C was on and said she's just like we're seeing. I hope she goes soon. I think she has something quite wrong with her. Lithium wouldn't go amiss.

I like Yvette but she could go?

I thought Lady C was charmingly bonkers until the incident over collecting the clothes last night. She started to lose my sympathy there and her constant bellowing is starting to grate.

I can't STAND Tony, Yvette and Brian, I think one of them will be the first to go. I think Yvette has done her best to align herself with the 'popular kids' and actually Lady C was quite insightful about Yvette being a follower.

I'm really pleasantly surprised by Vicky and Fern, I didn't know who either of them were apart from knowing which TV programmes they've come from and automatically assumed they were going to be knobs. At the moment I'd quite like Vicky to win.

George... George who? Grin

sadwidow28 · 27/11/2015 14:10

ENtertainment Thanks for that information regarding Phil Tuffnell. I clearly don't watch those programmes you mentioned. He is actually one of my favourite winners.

I remembered another TV show that Joe Swash is in: FAKE IT. Another horrible programme about eating, touching unacceptable things. I have to switch over when that starts.

According to Rylan on This Morning, the bookies' odds for winning have changed. It is now Vicky, Fearne, Chris (Chris replacing George, probably because of the way that he counselled Kieron and stopped him from leaving).

The odds for first eviction have also changed ...... now Brian tipped to be first one out. Apparently, Brian was Rylan's choreographer on X-factor and he said that "this just isn't Brian at all - I have never seen him be so egotistical and whining".

I still have my phones at the ready ............... Lady C to leave!

BeckerLleytonNever · 27/11/2015 16:56

Ive never liked Hadley.

I was a Durannie! His voice reminds me (singing) of a lounge/cruise ship crooner type. Not a pop star voice (although hes been successful with it).

and his ego is awful. hes slimy.

Not liking Yvette, shame, I love Blue Peter! Sad.

Angelto5 · 27/11/2015 18:11

Did anyone notice last night susannah was smoking a real cigarette as opposed to her e-cig?possible stress has got to her?

This is only the second series I've watched (this & last years) & there's a massive difference in my mind-
•last year there was more happy moments like when Tinchy & Michael made that rap
•the camp mates don't seem to be loosing weight (which is not a good thing but maybe they are better this year)
•there seems to be a lot of things allowed this year (razors, fluffy pillows, pearls & jewellery, false eyelashes)

I don't really have a negative opinion of any of the camp mates except lady c! Because of how much attention she is getting we're not getting to know anyone else-I hope lady c is voted off!!

WotNoLoobrush · 27/11/2015 18:41

Yep, Lady C has ruined this series so far. The sooner she goes, the better.

ellenanora5 · 27/11/2015 18:49

I didn't know there was a new thread, thanks Anne Smile

Yes to all the comments about lady c, she is really awful, she wants to be the centre of attention all the time and then says she doesn't like the limelight, liar, I was really prepared to hate Susannah but she is actually ok, I don't think it's fair that her and Yvette will be up for eviction, they didn't even get a chance because liar liar wouldn't do the task.

It would be interesting to see more of the others if she was gone though, we don't see enough of them because lady c gets so much airtime.

I like Tony

I don't like Kieron

I'll be back later after tonights show Grin

sadwidow28 · 27/11/2015 19:03

can I vote yet? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Lady C to be evicted

ILikeToClean · 27/11/2015 19:35

Caught up on the last 2 nights at lunchtime today as I have been working. WTF re the t-shirts?! That made me lose all respect for Lady C, I think she just has to have a say about everything and be right, even if she knows it's complete rubbish she will never back down. Not sure if she is for real or not, as Yvette said, first of all it was funny as she was this eccentric old lady, but things have turned very nasty.

I think Susannah is remarkably patient with her, but yes, noticed she was smoking a real ciggie so the stress is obviously getting to her!

Did anyone notice Jorgie's roll of the eyes when she, Brian and Tony did the challenge and Brian said he wanted to be in number 1 box as he always wants to be number 1? It was very subtle but she looked a bit fed up...she is being very quiet these days.

Brian is annoying me - he is just very full of himself and think he might go tonight. Lady C won't go, the public won't want to get rid of her as she is causing all the "entertainment" atm.

Liked when George would not get drawn into conversation with her about the others. Think Chris and Keiron are getting to the end of their patience with her now too...

Vicky is coming across the best, I had no clue who she was but think she will win the thing.

I am working now so won't watch til much later so will have to avoid the thread until after...!

Bearbehind · 27/11/2015 20:05

Isn't the vote just between Susannah, Yvette and Colin though?

Plus you vote to keep people in, not vote them out.

I'm crossing everything that Colin is voted out- then waiting for the after show programme where she'll no doubt do an interview beforehand and not turn up.

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/11/2015 20:43

90mins tonight :)

SW voting will probably open when it starts, but yes we need to check that we vote to keep them in, or to get rid of, would hate to mix it up Hmm

sadwidow28 · 27/11/2015 20:53

I thought that Ant and Dec said we had the first chance to vote someone out.

Apparently, the other teams have been doing more trials today and each winning team could nominate another team to go to the DANGER ZONE (Snake Rock). If I understood it correctly, there will be NINE possible candidates for eviction by the time the votes open.

checks all phones are fully charged

sadwidow28 · 27/11/2015 20:59

I nearly forgot to pour the Chardonnay Wine Wine Wine Wine Wine

Today we have Chocolate - the local shop had Christmas DM bars on offer.

I also picked up Camembert and Cheshire Cheese for those who prefer a light supper rather than a 'treat'.

sadwidow28 · 27/11/2015 21:01

We are starting ............ tonight is definitely the FIRST EVICTION

WotNoLoobrush · 27/11/2015 21:01

sadwidow Grin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 27/11/2015 21:06
