Just managed to watch it now.

One word - stressful. Oh Quinn......

oneowlgirl · 07/12/2015 23:53

Thanks Howabout!! (I don't know how to bold on the app either!)

AmberFool · 08/12/2015 07:25

If the laptop was locked away in a safe...

It wasn't though. It was hidden in the house. The really incriminating stuff was in the safe and the Russians took that stuff away.

UnGoogleable · 08/12/2015 11:26

At some point, even Brodie will have slept with Hair...

Nah, Hair will turn out to be Brodie's sister thus making her Frannie's Aunty Shock

The other thing I was wondering was how the hell can she trot across cobbled streets in those stilettos?

Fiderer · 08/12/2015 16:19

The cobbled streets? Maybe secret spy training? Cos I was having trouble today in my boots and the heels are 400 times thicker than hers.

AmberFool · 08/12/2015 18:01

The other thing I was wondering was how the hell can she trot across cobbled streets in those stilettos?

She probably stumbled in the first 5 takes Grin

UnGoogleable · 08/12/2015 18:10

Must be what they teach you in 'Tradecraft for Beginners'

That and 'When you're being followed, don't walk really fast and look over your shoulder frequently with wild stary eyes' - Carrie was off sick that day.

Howaboutthisone · 08/12/2015 22:24

Thanks AmberFool for clearing that up for me. I couldn't get my head around it! I still don't understand why no one is looking for the undead lawyer though.

CoteDAzur · 08/12/2015 22:26

Just finished the new episode.

Anyone want to know what happens to Quinn?

This sucks. Why can't you all watch it at the same time as me? I'll forget it all by Sunday night.

Howaboutthisone · 08/12/2015 22:43

NOOOOOO! Not even a hint! UK pace only here please!

Roonerspism · 08/12/2015 22:59

Please please, no spoilers!!!!

ILikeToClean · 08/12/2015 23:09

Only just caught up - phew that was tense. Enjoyed them watching Hair getting train etc, like a good old fashioned spy thriller.

Yes ungoogleable I was shouting at the tv - really thought Hair was going to come down the stairs.

Lots of questions raised as you've all mentioned like where is Amsterdam man? What about laptop info? But most of all, why doesn't Carrie give a shit about Quinn???

Think Dar will believe Alison...

TensionWheelsCoolHeels · 08/12/2015 23:12

I'm sticking my fingers in my ears, don't want to know any spoilers Hmm

Anyone see the news story earlier today with Mandy Patinkin helping refugees arriving from Syria in Lesbos? It's like some weird art imitating life imitating art parallel universe thing. It might explain the 'Saul is good' vibes we get though - maybe those vibes just shine through in Mandy's performance and the ambiguity over Saul's goodness actually stem from Mandy himself. Smile

Lweji · 08/12/2015 23:28

Just as long as nobody kills his dad, presumably.

TensionWheelsCoolHeels · 09/12/2015 09:15

Just realised I forgot to post on this thread after Sunday night’s episode.

I feel betrayed and cheated by Homeland.

It’s obvious stupid weedy, meerkat looking Dar is going to believe Hair :yawns:

But, my real heartbreak lies with ol’ weaseley faced Quinn, I  him, I don’t want him to die, please don’t let him dieeeeeeeeeeeeeee :cries:

I don’t know if I’m going to be able to watch this week’s episode as I know Dar believing hair will just rile me and if Quinn dies….my heart will break :sob:

So yes, I just feel petulant towards it. I REALLY hope Quinn doesn’t die, him and Carrie MUST end up together!

Fiderer · 09/12/2015 16:04

Lweji I don't get the killing dad reference.

Lweji · 09/12/2015 17:32
Fiderer · 09/12/2015 17:44

Ah. Get it now. Is the film worth watching? Aside from MP being in it.

He has a look of Danny Kaye.

Lweji · 09/12/2015 17:52

Yes. For fun.

Hassled · 10/12/2015 22:23

Finally. Fucking Finally. Do you know how hard it is to know there's a Homeland thread out there where people are having fun chatting about Homeland but you can't join in because the whole world is conspiring against you ever getting the chance to watch the thing? Quinn may think he's had a hard time along the way but that was NOTHING compared to this torture.

I love the Ladybird guide. You publish it, I'll buy it for everyone I know.

Quinn's not dead. He is indeed Quinnvinceable. That frothing was just random spittle - nothing to worry about. What's Good Jihadi's name - do we know? And I'd forgotten about Good Hacker - he'll work some shit out.

Here's the link to Saul and the refugees, thus proving his ultimate goodness.

UnGoogleable · 10/12/2015 22:35

Awwww love the Inigo Montoya link!

Fiderer Yes it's worth watching, preferably slightly pissed and in the mood to laugh at a hilariously cheesy yet witty 80s classic with some surprising cameos from a few well known faces to keep you on your toes. I didn't discover it till I was in my 20s, I've no idea how I didn't grow up watching it because it's bloody brilliant.

Saul was rather dashing in his day. He still has that twinkle in his eye. I have just read your link Hassled, wow very moving. He's a good writer and a man of principle.

centurylooser · 13/12/2015 01:26

Happy Homeland Day everybody!

Roonerspism · 13/12/2015 10:34

Excited!!!

And then months of mourning as there is nothing else I like watching!

PseudoBadger · 13/12/2015 10:37

Is it the last one?!
