Just seen that the first "celebs" have arrived in Australia. Kieron Dyer and Jorgie Porter apparently. Isn't she the one who was on Celeb First Dates recently?

Series starts a week today!

Why is serving people beneath him? "Not his style"? Wanker.

I hope the next time Tony is in a restaurant or shop they refuse to serve him.

"I'm starving - I'm Hank" :o. I don't know who the Geordie girl is, but I love her.

Cherrypie32 · 24/11/2015 21:57

So now everyone will vote for Lady C to do trials so that she refuses and the camp doesn't eat!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 24/11/2015 22:00

I so want to wipe that smug look off Tony's face.

'Nice thigh'
What on earth Grin

DorynownotFloundering · 24/11/2015 22:17

Actually I think if it had been anyone else but Lady C, Tony might have done it ( & taken the pee out of everyone - but knowing Lady C would extract every inch of humiliation out of it, I don't blame him for refusing.

Serving someone in a shop is not the same as serving in this context.

sciaticasucks · 24/11/2015 22:23

Hmm...I haven't warmed to Tony really since the beginning but I thought it might be just that he was a grumpy middle aged man. However...His behaviour tonight tells me all I need to know about him so I have a definite dislike for him now.

ENtertainmentAppreciated · 24/11/2015 22:28

I'm watching a bit of ITV2 but won't stay the course. I ditched the show tonight and watched Capital instead Blush

ILikeToClean · 24/11/2015 22:47

Do think if it had been anyone else apart from Lady C Tony might not have been so unwilling. I think Georgie would have been OK to do it but got dissuaded. It's just going to cause an almighty row now (good telly though!).

noclueses · 24/11/2015 22:49

why is everyone just blaming Tony? I'm not his fan but tbf Jorgie was only too glad to go along with him. I think it's fair enough as they only lost dollars - if it was meals, I think they'd grudgingly do it. I think it's Lady C and Chris they didn't want to be subservient to.

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/11/2015 22:56

i also voted for tony Grin

yes it all true in principle, but the camp sided with Tony on this one, I'm sure they'd speak up if they didn't approve - someone always does! I think they all want to teach Lady C a lesson especially after the three of then starting persistently whispering and giggling about others.

noclueses · 25/11/2015 00:49

*them started

This. In a nutshell.

sadwidow28 · 25/11/2015 05:52

I also think Tony refused to serve simply because it was Lady C (and to a lesser extent, Chris Eubank). We only see edited highlights but it became clear last night that Lady C is whispering about the others amongst her team. It is making them all feel uncomfortable - and it's the height of bad manners!

The other thing was that Lady C said that there was 'nothing they could offer me in this jungle to induce me to try to win this task'. The others were so excited about the prospect of a night at the Jungle Boutique Hotel, but Lady C asked if there were two people who would like to join her team and lose.

But then when they won ...... so, so different wasn't it?

She only selected Tony because she doesn't like him. I think Tony was wise to refuse as there was only humiliation on the cards for him. I'm not sure why Jorgie was selected though. I thought Lady C liked her, but then we haven't seen much of Jorgie in the highlights so anything could have happened.

Ferne was absolutely brilliant in that task. I found myself holding my breath for her!

sadwidow28 · 25/11/2015 06:31

Oh yes, and I am really starting to dislike Brian. He upset Vicky with his passive aggressive comments about the water, and then he started eyeing up the leader's chair saying "I should be the boss. I am meant to lead not to follow". Vicky described him as 'a control freak' and I think she is right.

Actually, quite a few of the camp mates had negative things to say about Brian. I think he is getting on people's nerves.

And wasn't he creepy when he watched Vicky, Ferne and Duncan eating their choc ices?

ILikeToClean · 25/11/2015 08:19

Yes sadwidow Lady C totally changed her tune about the boutique hotel didn't she?!

Brian is never going to be leader! He's coming across as very controlling and whingey. The public will vote for Vicky as new leader I reckon. I wasn't keen on the idea of latecomers but I really like them both, although a lot of the others don't seem to get a look in now.

milliemoon · 25/11/2015 08:39

Sharing a bed with two people I barely know would be worse than the trials for me, I'd have longed for my hammock

DeepBlueLake · 25/11/2015 08:40

Brian is truly awful.

sadwidow28 · 25/11/2015 09:32

Iliketoclean

The way that I understood the trial was the FASTEST team would get the night in the Jungle Boutique Hotel, but any other team releasing their golden key within the 10 minutes would also receive A prize.

So the Lady C team (who came last) managed to get the boutique hotel prize because the prizes were actually distributed by opening chests.

I am getting more and more convinced that the programme is being deliberately manipulated (more so than any previous year). And I don't like to be taken for a mug!

I have checked out episode 8 again and it did say that 'one lucky group will win this amazing prize' .... then it cuts off to choosing the teams

But then I checked out the 4 teams as they did the challenge (episodes 8 and 9) and they were all talking about 'doing it fast/faster' so they clearly thought that speed was absolutely essential to win the main prize.

Grrrr! I don't know what to think now.

ILikeToClean · 25/11/2015 10:21

Yes I thought it was a speed test too, but then seemed to just be luck as to who opened the best chest so maybe it was manipulated so Lady C won?! Or did their keys open a particular lettered chest? I wasn't paying attention. Think if it was speed then they would have told them their times? Or maybe it was just that they had 30 mins to get the key, didn't matter how long as long as it was before the time was up? Maybe someone could clarify?Confused

All these shows are taking us for mugs - yet we still watch Shock

sadwidow28 · 25/11/2015 10:26

I have episode 8 (choosing teams) still running on ITV catch-up and I have just realised something:

Yvette selected Chris Eubank for her team and Lady C stepped in and said that others should have the right to choose previously selected people. (Duncan's leadership skills were non-existant when trying to run the team selection). Anyway......

Brian (deputy camp leader) was offered 1st choice and chose Jorgie and George. They both confirmed they would like to stay as that threesome.

Lady C was then asked for her choice and she asked for 2 people who would like to join her in losing the task and opting out. (I think she was too afraid to ask for anyone in case they rejected her. That would never do would it?) So Duncan moves on....

Susannah selected Yvette Fielding and Chris Eubank for her team. Yvette confirmed that she would stay with Susannah and also selected Chris for her team.

But up popped Lady C again and said, "Surely we are supposed to get to the end and all the people can ask for who they want, so somebody else might want Chris or......" (BUT SHE HAD JUST FORFEITED HER SELECTION)

We didn't see Kieran's selection in the highlight show - it moved on to Tony.

Tony Hadley then selected Lady C and Chris Eubank. Lady C then says, "Yes, I would like the two of you if I'm going to have to do it".

But Chris Eubank rejects Susannah and Tony by confirming that he "will partner up with you [Lady C] and would partner up with Kieran" and that team somehow over-ruled Tony Hadley's and Susannah's selections.

Tony then had to join with Yvette and Susannah as he had been clearly displaced and left out.

In the Den, Lady C said to the camera, "Chris chose me and Kieran chose me and I am just so appreciative". Errrrrr..... what about Tony Hadley having chosen her first?

No wonder Tony didn't want to be the chamber maid at the boutique hotel. But I am beginning to think it was the total rejection by Chris Eubank AND Lady C that has really sealed the rift. (Chris Eubank who later claimed to be a sensitive soul and was upset that their team wasn't embraced when they went off to do the trial. Perhaps it was the nasty way that their team came together than meant they weren't embraced. Diddums!)
