Just seen that the first "celebs" have arrived in Australia. Kieron Dyer and Jorgie Porter apparently. Isn't she the one who was on Celeb First Dates recently?

Series starts a week today!

I keep wavering with Lady C. She comes across as rude and brash but they won't listen to her and she does frequently turn out to be right, it's the way she comes across I think. I thought she did amazing in that trial. That took some guts and she literally just sat or stood there. I didn't blame her for stopping that last trial though, how you are suppose to make sure you don't accidently breathe through your nose I don't know. Should have given her a nose plug. I liked it when she was flirting g though, it let us see a different side to her. Tbh she is entertaining and it would be pretty boring this year without her.

So is it contact lenses that are ruling them out of trials with water? I did wonder why Brian keeps getting excused on medical grounds when he presumably passed a medical to go in and is a dancer (I think, choreographer?).

I like Yvette, she comes across as very genuine. Though I'd dislike her. I like Susannah, Jorgie, Duncan, Vicky, Fearn, Yvette, Lady C. I don't like Chris, something about him I jsy really can't get past. Meh about George, Brian, Tony and Keiron Tbh. They just do t do anything for me. Hoping for a Queen this year.

Loving Ant and Dec though.

Maryz, that'd be hilarious if she was called just 'Colin'! Not it's the title, but she's got her first name whatever it is (Georgia?) and that's what's used informally.

noclueses · 24/11/2015 11:32

*no instead of 'not'

noclueses · 24/11/2015 11:38

it's the same as the traditional use of full husband's name for any Mrs, still used in formal correspondence/table settings (e.g. Mrs John Smith, but of course any Mrs has got her own first name).

Yes, contact lenses would make most of these trials too risky - anything to do with water is a bad idea. Too much potential for bacteria and germs.

Why does Chris wear that stupid clamshell thing in his eye? I know he wears a proper one in real life. Dh reckons he's got a lazy eyebrow and needs to prop it openGrin

TobleroneBoo · 24/11/2015 15:53

I thought it may be an ear complaint (Otitis externa etc) that stops them doing the water trials?

noclueses · 24/11/2015 17:25

Maryz because she likes to use her title - to sound important and above the oiks Grin, she's boasting about being aristocracy all the time as we all know. Friends/family would use her first name but these people are not her friends so it's not seen as an informal situation. The etiquette is that she needs to suggest to whoever to use her first name, by choice. Yes, it's all tiresome but she is of the older generation.

ENtertainmentAppreciated · 24/11/2015 19:38

I thought I heard both Ferne and Vicky talking about Lady C and referring to her as Georgie? She did say it was her name at the beginning but it's not only her, it's a thing for the programme too to keep calling her Lady C.

I get fed up as well when people are excused, although if the same people are voted for over and over, then sometimes it gives the viewer a change as much as the participant.

sadwidow28 · 24/11/2015 20:55

Apparently I can't download the free app because I am a Windows phone.

No problem!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 24/11/2015 21:07

I can't watch because DH is watching football. Sad

Unless I can watch online somewhere? Is there an ITV version of the live telly part of iplayer?

Oh there is! I'm in and watching!

Cherrypie32 · 24/11/2015 21:15

God almighty, I'm having a panic attack watching her. I couldn't do this.

CFSsucks · 24/11/2015 21:18

No this is awful. There is hardly any space for her to breathe. If she panics then it's not a great situation as she can't get out quickly.

Cherrypie32 · 24/11/2015 21:21

The critters would pale into insignificance over the lack of breathing space and the water. Grim.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 24/11/2015 21:25

I've just used my 5 votes for Tony.

Brian thinks he's going to be there at the end.

Cherrypie32 · 24/11/2015 21:37

Brian will be voted out first surely.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 24/11/2015 21:40

I hope so, Cherry.
