Chemistry between Al and Emma?! AngryHalloween Confused

LarrytheCucumber · 30/10/2015 19:36

I want to know what Heston's problem is with Ruhma. What have I missed? A pregnant woman went into labour in a bookshop (I think) and Ruhma took charge and then Heston turned up and played the 'I'm a doctor' card. There was a bit of an altercation because he said something about birth being dangerous and needing a doctor and how he's seen cases where midwives had their own agenda and put patients at risk. She responded with the 'birth is natural and women should have what they want ' line. I think that's the gyst of it.

LarrytheCucumber · 30/10/2015 19:40

Sorry, the 'gist' of it.

Raahh · 30/10/2015 19:49

ooh, Thanks Larry

Watching today's. Why is 6tl in charge of the funeral and the house clearance? She was just a recent thing. What about his family???

Raahh · 30/10/2015 20:11

Ahh, Anne. This be Doctors. They might have got Caroline Quentin in once, but the budget won't stretch to a whole family reunionGrin.

(and if they did, the sister would be played by someone totally different, probablyHalloween Grin

Where are the zombies we were promised?

And what is the rush to clear TBFE's house? He owned not rented.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 30/10/2015 20:13

Very true, Raahh, but she could have done it off camera.

Love Gobby!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 30/10/2015 20:14

Don't fall for the angel of death's womanly wiles Al.

cinnamongreyhound · 30/10/2015 20:22

His sister organised the funeral AnneEyhtMeyer, she said earlier this week that his sister was asking for her input.

cinnamongreyhound · 30/10/2015 20:29

Al did think a lot of tbfe!

How did she know it was a boy? Was a bit early to know wasn't it?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 30/10/2015 20:42

Did she, cinnamon? Today she said "organise the funeral, clear out the house" so I thought she'd done it all rather than just being an attention seeker! Grin

I thought the same about the sex, unless she was a lot further on because she had mistaken the symptoms for the menopause.

toldmywrath · 30/10/2015 20:43

So today we had power cuts at the Gobbys but it didn't affect the fairy lights Hmm

toldmywrath · 30/10/2015 20:44

At what age is the sex clear & determined then? (you'd think that I would know being a mum myself Grin )

toldmywrath · 30/10/2015 20:45

Sorry not age of course, but weeks gestation Blush

toldmywrath · 30/10/2015 20:47

It was another case of spot the crowd at the nightclub- it is so lame you'd think they could rope some Letherbridge uni students in for crowd filling. Wink

hairbrushbedhair · 30/10/2015 20:48

I think it's 13 now but that's recent it was 17 just 3 years ago

Though I think if you miscarry they can tell by looking at the fetus afterwards

toldmywrath · 30/10/2015 21:41

Thanks hairbbhair I understood 6tl to be about 12 weeks & I have no idea it that is the case or I imagined it

blamethecat · 30/10/2015 21:42

Told the power cut didn't affect the table lamps either.

toldmywrath · 30/10/2015 21:47

I didn't notice that blamethecat -still it makes the viewing more enjoyable for me when there are mistakes Grin

cinnamongreyhound · 30/10/2015 22:47

She did AnneEyhtMeyer, something like (insert sisters name) is pestering me for him choices and eulogy, it wasn't viv so I assumed it wasn't Rev. May have to double check it was when she was talking to naimh in the episode where Heston visited.

TheDrsDocMartens · 31/10/2015 09:15

Saskia? The sister. She mentioned her asking Emma to help which I was surprised at as it showed continuity.

tilliebob · 31/10/2015 12:28

What I live on telly is how quickly people die and have funerals. Having a family bereavement recently, it was nearly two weeks between the two things.

I hope 6tl sods off to Oz. She irritates me intensely almost as much as Valerie and Sid

Raahh · 31/10/2015 22:29

tillie- i did think that. An otherwise healthy, relatively young bloke- dead and buried within a few days. No questions asked. Did seem a bit quick!

Yes post mortem is usually at least a couple of days in these circumstances. And then all the arrangements etc & the funeral director having a slot. (over thinking/over invested who me?)
