It's not the same now pomegranates are available all year- used to know it was Autumn when we got pomegranates.

cinnamon your nan comment about the pop socks! I thought about me when I used to wear leather boots under a skirt in winter- I'd wear pop socks or navy long johns in winter (very fetching!) This was when I was in my late teens/early 20s

I remember just having pomegranate as a rare treat. Like eating jewels, making my mouth water just thinking about it. Off to have an orange instead. Mind you, they were a pain to get the pips.

I liked the fact there were two brummie accented actors today. Makes sense as it's in B'ham.
