Thought about mentioning Halloween Hell in the title but it's a Sunday morning and some of us may be feeling delicate enough.

Dd is going out tonight i wont be watching either

Can anyone in the know explain to me how the pro's manage to have the costumes/hair/makeup for the dances with the celebs, and then different for the pro group dance, and then different again if they are dancing to the musical act?

I assumed that maybe they were filmed after the dance off, but that seems harsh on the pros that may have been in the dance off.

I always presume the pro dances are pre-recorded, probably even before the Saturday night "live" show?

Pro group dances for the results show and musical act are filmed standalone earlier in the day I think, either before curtain up on the first show or in between end of the live show and the beginning of the "as live" bit of the results show. It means they can do retakes.

As the series wears on, the pro dances are dominated by eliminated pros which makes things easier.

Lovely to see Marian on ITT again- and she was looking super fab too- loved the shoes, dress, hair...

I'm working - opening and closing the building for a meeting - so can't watch but will be able to check in.

Will be watching. Has been an exhausting day after going to the Cake and Bake Show and watching the Rugby World Cup final, so now I get to sit and relax.

GrouchyKiwi you must be a very proud Kiwi today, well done to the All Blacks and also the Wallabees for a superb final.

That pro/celeb dance was quite fun. Natalie was completely enthralling, as always.

Good so far, would like to see the pros doing a classic ballroom routine though.

I don't like all the daft costumes, just detract from the dancing.

I'm going to do my damndest to watch but my house is soon to be filled with many many 17/18 year old boys. I'm scared ...

Tess's dress is a bit risqué or is that not really her skin?

I was going to say the opposite, I hate theme weeks, but I like Halloween. Costumes make up and hair are amazing.

Juan - how's operation Pasha going?

I am not going to cope with the VTs today.

Is it me or is Len especially quite mean and hard on Katie? I think other dancers on the show are given quite an easy ride
