Kelly how awful for you. I'd want to change dentists. Should we share painkillers?

Got my referral letter at last. It was less than 50% accurate but not too bothered if it keeps the insurance company happy. It made reference to my pins and needles (don't have any) in my arm and detailed my GP appointments since 2011 (not many of those thankfully). There was one for this April which is totally fabricated. I was in Amsterdam (with CJ!!) at the time. The only time I've been this year was menopause related stuff in May.!

I hope you managed some rest Kelly and that you can get your prescription early. Lots of hugs and Thanks. Can MrK take the kids off to soft play or something to give you a break and let you lie on the sofa staring at Foxy all day

Tipping it down here and off to Chester for the weekend. My friend emailed yesterday and sounds very depressed. Said she keeps crying at work. I know they had a big reorganisation recently But she also mentioned some money problems. This might not be the most uplifting of weekends away. Sad

Off shopping and general mooching in London today, so am hoping I may have a chance encounter with a rain drenched BA who needs to take shelter under my brolly and be rubbed down to dry off

I hope you manage to cheer your friend a little ilove, and get some enjoyment yourself.

Jealous of all the people going to the meet up. We're away that weekend, 51 other weekends of the year are clear, grr

Thanks all. My friend is well overweight, her Mum is elderly and failing quite a lot, the work reorg meant her best friend there decided to take early retirement and she's not happy generally about work so it could be a mixture of it all. Not sure about her money problems though. That's the most troubling as she's never indicated anything like this before and enjoys shopping A LOT.

Hope your friend is ok ilove sounds like she could do with a good chat. A friend of mine was always spending and her and her husband always seemed comfortably off until it turns out she had 6 credit cards and had gone to the maximum on all of them. I had no idea and up until that point she has never let on there was a problem.
orphan enjoy London and hope you bump into a soaked to skin BA!
kelly hope your night wasn't too bad and your husband manages to get your antibiotics this morning.
DS is 6mths old today! Cake Me and DP can't believe we have got him this far without damaging him although there was a close call when I tripped up the first stair when he was 2 days old and he fell out of the Moses basket Sad I felt so awful and cried for hours after! He was fine but i think it has scarred me for life.
Weaning starts properly today so need to go and pick his highchair up from the post office.

Aww, happy half birthday to mini-mads. Babies seem so incredibly delicate, but they're quite robust really. The day DS leant to crawl he crawled/fell down the stairs. Lots of tears (mostly mine) and a trip to A&E later he was fine.

Good luck with the weaning, and the challenge of putting the high chair together!

Morning all. ilove and kelly hoping you feel better soon. Have a lovely weekend ilove, sounds like your friend is having a shitty time of it. One of my friends from uni was (and still is) an absolute shopaholic - I always assumed she could afford it until one day she let me in on the fact that she'd blown all of her student loans and racked up in excess of £20k in credit card debt. It's taken her the last ten years to pay it all back, mainly because as soon as she clears one card she starts spending again Confused

pix hope the work situation improves soon - i can definitely sympathise! That's rubbish you can't make it to the meet up. Sad I finally broached it with DH last night, he didn't actually seem too bothered about me sodding off on a weekend, although he's fairly used to me going away for work anyway.

Happy 6 months to the little one mads! Hope the sleep situation is bearable. Weaning is so exciting - they are going through so many changes, and it's so lovely seeing them in their high chair trying out foods for the first time.

Happy half birthday to your littlie mads. I was really good first time round pureeing and stuff, second time it was Ella pouches and jars!! My theory was that they would have more variety of healthy stuff than I could ever do. That was my excuse anyway!!

Just dumped the kids for half hour to do the shopping, so now sitting in starbucks with a gingerbread latte. Yummy Grin
