I was never into Take That and I think it's all a bit tragic that they're still trying to do the 'boy band' thing now. But I do appreciate a fine looking man when I see one, and Mr Barlow has grown up into one.

I also like Chris Evans a lot - I like him on the Radio in the mornings, he's fun and innovative and clever. I also have a lot of respect for him - he could easily have drunk himself into oblivion, but he turned himself around.

Sad to hear you saw him crying in the street firefly , I think those were his difficult years. I once heard a very moving interview with him where he talked about having had a daughter when he was young, and he admitted he was a total arse to both his child and her mother. He said it was Billie who encouraged him to get back in contact with his daughter and build a relationship. He was very humble.

Wheeling out his son ... hmmm

Oh there's Billie herself!!! Love that they're still friends!

Sallystyle · 16/10/2015 20:44

Aww my men are on!

Only 2 weeks until I see them live again

Runs for the hills

The80sweregreat · 16/10/2015 20:45

Fancy having your ex in the audience!

The80sweregreat · 16/10/2015 20:46

Sallystyle · 16/10/2015 20:48

Just incase it wasn't obvious Grin

firefly78 · 16/10/2015 20:50

Sparklingbrook · 16/10/2015 20:54

Billie used to go out with Ritchie Neville from 5ive (now 3ive). I know who I would find more interesting.

Sallystyle · 16/10/2015 20:54

Have done since I was 13.

I even have a U2 tattoo.

Leaves thread

UnGoogleable · 16/10/2015 20:54

Billie is a damn good actress, and I LOVED her in Diary of a Callgirl or whatever it was called, she's ace.

Oh it's those hasbeens U2 again! Someone should tell Bono that gingery blonde dyed hair and purple sunglasses indoors are very ageing.

firefly78 · 16/10/2015 20:58

DH has just reminded me that bono is a tax dodging wanker

BrianCoxReborn · 16/10/2015 20:59

U2 - I think we're the only fans left.

I like that everyone hates U2 again . Remember when they became really popular in the late 90's? Not for me.

I'm in love with Bono, the great blonde arse that he is. Loud n proud.

Sallystyle · 16/10/2015 20:59

The first performance was the worst I've ever seen, I must admit.

But bless him, he was knocked off his bike and is still recovering while touring.

He wears glasses for his eye condition.

Sparklingbrook · 16/10/2015 20:59

I don't mind U2. But Duran Duran will always be my No.1.

5 SOS have just released a tune sampling Hungry Like the Wolf. Angry

Ridingthegravytrain · 16/10/2015 20:59

God U2 are rubbish live. Think the highlight was the puppies

Definitely had its day..

Bimblepops · 16/10/2015 20:59

Billie's husband Lawrence was on the other side of Chris's mum, they're all good pals I think

Sallystyle · 16/10/2015 21:00

Yay to another fan!!!

BrianCoxReborn · 16/10/2015 21:01

Having seen U2 live on many occasions.through the years, they are fabulous live. So nerr.

InkleWinkle · 16/10/2015 21:01

Did they say Duran Duran are on next week?

And DD1 put 5SOS on in the car today & I nearly caused a pile up on the dual carriageway!

Bimblepops · 16/10/2015 21:01

It all seemed a bit tired this evening, trying a bit too hard. I think I would have preferred it if I'd been drunk.

Having been said that, I'll be watching again next week - love Chris Evans, have been a fan since his LBC days.

Sallystyle · 16/10/2015 21:02

They aren't rubbish live usually.

They are better live than on recordings.

Ive been to many shows and usually they are fantastic.

A bad day for Bono's voice, but it is not the norm.

And going by the amount of new shows they have added and how quickly they sell out they have not had their dad.

I'll be up there dancing with the rest of the glimmers Grin

Bimblepops · 16/10/2015 21:02

Duran Duran on durinf this series, but don't think it's next week.
