who's watching?

I'm sad that we won't have Nick this time. And I hope Baggsy gets a tribute of some sort.

Oooh do you think he fires all three next week? Or maybe someone from the winning team?!

BYOSnowman · 06/11/2015 22:27

Or someone from the losing team before the pm picks the two to come back

BondJayneBond · 06/11/2015 22:53

Has he ever fired 3 at once before?

Haggisfish · 06/11/2015 22:55

I don't think so. I think one of them maybe does something dangerous.

APlaceOnTheCouch · 06/11/2015 22:58

I feel like I've missed something . . . why do you think the firings are different in the episode coming up?

Haggisfish · 06/11/2015 23:07

There was a clip from next week at the end where surallan says he's going to do something he's never done before.

BondJayneBond · 07/11/2015 06:37

Yeah, but the last time he said something like that it was just having mixed boy / girl teams in the first episode.

Maybe he won't fire anyone? That would be new Wink

BugritAndTidyup · 07/11/2015 07:16

He fired three at once in the last series. I can't remember who it was, though unfortunately, but yes he has Jayne.

APlaceOnTheCouch · 07/11/2015 07:17

Ah, thanks Haggis. I'm going to plump for: firing someone straight from the initial boardroom ie before cafe del fail. Although considering how disappointing his last attempt to mix it up was - maybe he'll just send them straight out on the task rather than going to a tenuously linked location first.Grin

BondJayneBond · 07/11/2015 07:26

Thanks Bugrit

I just googled that, and it was the task where they did the Fat Daddy Fitness Hell YouTube thing, starring the actually not all that fat Felipe as 'Fat Daddy'

emotionsecho · 07/11/2015 15:03

I vaguely remember that 3 people fired episode, the people waiting at the house received a phone call to tell them no-one would be coming back if I remember correctly.

We are due some multiple firings as there are far too many people still in a drastic culling is on the cardsGrin.

Elendon · 07/11/2015 15:43

Are there going to be any women left?

There are some men there who are awful and shouldn't be in business. Ever.

I'm not watching it, if there are only men left. Because that does not reflect business. And Karen (such an old fashioned name eh?), should rein it in!

emotionsecho · 07/11/2015 17:00

You're right Elendon it's high time some of the men were weeded out one has, rightly, gone and I thought it would have been harsh to have sacked the one who was the losing PM on the pet sales task, equally it wasn't down to Brett this week that they failed.

GruntledOne · 07/11/2015 17:48

Are we sure he's never fired anyone before getting to the last three? There's something stirring in the back of my mind about someone who did something he regarded as so unethical that they were out immediately.

emotionsecho · 07/11/2015 17:52

I'm getting the same stirring Gruntled. I'll have to Google!

emotionsecho · 07/11/2015 18:01

Found it Gruntled it was the second episode of the 2014 series, he fired Robert Goodwin 'for refusing to step up as Project Manager against Lord Sugar's advice, making no positive contributions to date, and for indicating he would only lead a task if it involved high-end, luxury goods.' (copied from Wkipedia), he fired him after finding out the results but prior to the 'final three' bit.

Haggisfish · 07/11/2015 19:13

Hmmmm I am baffled then!

SuffolkNWhat · 07/11/2015 19:30

Unless he's not firing anyone at all?

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 07/11/2015 19:54

I assume that the one unique selling point they aren't allowed to use in pitches is "This is for The Apprentice, and it is going to be worth a mint once the episode airs, and you could have loads of copies!"

BondJayneBond · 07/11/2015 20:01

I assume that the one unique selling point they aren't allowed to use in pitches is "This is for The Apprentice, and it is going to be worth a mint once the episode airs, and you could have loads of copies!"

Isn't the camera crew a bit of a giveaway? Especially if Karren or Claude is lurking in the background with a notebook.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 07/11/2015 20:04

Obviously the people they are selling to know that they are on The Apprentice - that wasn't my point - it was that they don't get to use it as a point in their sales pitch - "This book will be really in demand when the programme is shown - you'll be able to sell loads!!"

MediumBox · 07/11/2015 20:09

the camera crew is quite hard to notice nowadays.
it's tiny handheld cameras not big bulky ones.
though a horde of tossers in suits would give it away

APlaceOnTheCouch · 07/11/2015 21:47

He must fire someone from the winning team . . .there's nothing else left.

SDTG yy I had that thought about the books too. They should have had a sticker saying 'as featured on The Apprentice' on the front cover Grin

CFSsucks · 07/11/2015 22:36

I forgot he had fired someone before the final 3 were in. Only thing left is from the winning team. I can't see him firing no one, they aren't that good.

emotionsecho · 07/11/2015 22:53

Maybe he'll fire everyone except the ones he has decided should be in the final three a mass fire festGrin.
