Is Candy her real name or just one coined in ff? That's something else I never worked out. Am sure they never mention her real name and MD called her Mrs Smurf when she picked MD and Smurf up at Brize Norton.

The church scenes have always seemed odd - that "If there's anything I can ever do" bit always confuses me. Now think wer're in Homeland territory!

Had my heart in my mouth watching this whole bashira sequence and waiting for something to go horribly wrong

Just checked imdb ilove, she's called Candy in the cast list there.

I thought when she hugs Bashira that this was the end. I wasn't 100% happy but I thought it was a reasonable ending! Little did I know!

Yes it was as if it had come a full circle and concluded the story happily - would have been so sad if we hadn't had that final happy moment.

I wonder if they filmed a lot more in the church, and had to cut it down a lot ... we definitely should have had 6 episodes
