I need to re watch the last episode of season 5 too, i was a bit lost and couldn't remember half the characters, DH and I are contemplating Sky+ing them all and binge watching at christmas, i hate waiting week to week.

rockabillyruby82 · 15/10/2015 12:42

MsAdorabelle yeah, and Rick said they must be the walkers that had been around the community and that's why there are so few. We already know the Wolves are watching Alexandria so they were likely taking the walkers and dumping them in the cavern. I need to recap series 5, I'm sure one of the Wolves hints at what they are planning.

ElderlyKoreanLady · 15/10/2015 18:49

Definitely need to rewatch too...I thought they were just falling in!

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 15/10/2015 20:42

I wondered if the Wolves were behind it. The lorries that were blocking them all in were like the ones at the food depot where Morgan rescued Daryl and whatshisname. So perhaps the Wolves were watching Rick & co move them out and decided to send them in the direction of Alexandria.

Monroe · 15/10/2015 21:47

I Googled Negan after he was mentioned on a previous thread.

Wish I hadn't as some spoilery stuff from the comics popped up and if the show follows them I've kinda ruined it for myself

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 15/10/2015 22:31

Yeah I've done that. Couldn't resist. It doesn't follow them exactly thought. Daryl's not even in them so anything could happen to him. And different characters have been killed off and survived.

ElderlyKoreanLady · 16/10/2015 00:07

Right, just rewatched that scene several times over rockabilly. There are dark clothed figures there but nothing to indicate that they're not just walkers and there's no chucking or pushing?? They just walk towards the noise and fall in.

ElderlyKoreanLady · 16/10/2015 00:59

Just had a thought...I reckon the horn is either from one of the wagons at the wolves' trap (as in someone has shut themselves in one so they didn't die) or it's from their speakers.

Monroe · 16/10/2015 07:53

MsAdorabelle I hope so. There was one thing in particular which I thought they might actually follow but I'll shut up now before I'm accused of being spoilery Grin

Also, did anyone else get the impression Maggie might be pregnant? When Rick was asking for volunteers and Maggie and Glenn were sat on the sofa together, Glenn said something like you can't because of that and seemed to refer to some reason they didn't disclose, then said and there's another reason I think meaning sticking close to Diane. I remember thinking at the time she might be pregnant then forgot all about it.

Might need to watch again, I probably got it all wrong. And yes, the horn could be one of the wagons

SewingAndCakes · 16/10/2015 08:34

Monroe I wondered that too about Maggie.

ScarlettInSpace · 16/10/2015 09:48

I also thought that about Maggie, isn't she pregnant in reallife? They either needed to write it in it write her out...

Re the Negan storyline (on wiki lol) I was convinced a particular main character was going to die last season and they didn't - if they follow that story line then i think that's thus season finale Sad

I've now given in & read the whole comic story outline on wiki Angry but take comfort in the fact Daryl is an unknown quantity and Andrea died ages ago so it's just a guide...

Monroe · 16/10/2015 09:57

Scarlet, that's the storyline I read.I know they've changed or not done lots of other things but I actually think they might do it Sad

1Q84 · 16/10/2015 10:05

I think it's the Wolves also - it sounded like a big rig lorry horn to me which fits in with them. I hope Morgan got back to Alexandria in time to protect Judith, though I guess Carl was still there and maybe Carol? I don't think I saw her on the mission.

I really enjoyed the episode too and thought the black and white worked well.

KittyOShea · 17/10/2015 08:42

I hope it's the Wolves- they've been hanging around the fringes too long. Time for us to find out what they're all about!

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 17/10/2015 13:55

There a trailer for episode two on YouTube. Looks like the ones left behind are trying to protect Alexandria before Rick etc get back. Shock

ScarlettInSpace · 17/10/2015 16:27

Top tip for future; they shows the trailer for next week straight after tis weeks episode, if you hang around after the credits Wink

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 17/10/2015 19:00

I watch it on NowTV and they don't show the trailer usually but you can always find stuff on YouTube! Well, except for the last episode of Fear TWD. The buggers seem to be shit hot at keeping that one off line. I watched all the other episodes on YouTube. Grin

LookAtAllThesePhucksIGive · 18/10/2015 02:15

Tyreese's sister (the name just fell out of my head) has just had a baby or is due very soon in real life. I wonder if she will be written out (mid season finale?)
Carter was an odd one. So pivotal to everything but nowhere around in season 5. I had a massive crush on Ethan Embry when I was 12-13. Empire records, Dutch... :o

LookAtAllThesePhucksIGive · 18/10/2015 02:23

Sasha! Just seen that she gave birth in January. Blush so probably no need to be written out and what not.

cardibach · 18/10/2015 09:17

I like this thread for discussion about what things might mean. It's part of the cleverness of the series that you can't always tell! However, people commenting about what might happen because they've read the comic books spoils the whole thing. It might (or might nit, as I'm aware they change things a bit) be actual spoilers, but it isn't in the spirit of speculation based on the actual programme. Can we all stop it, please? If you want to discuss the differences from the comics or possibilities they raise, can you have your own thread so the rest of us can avoid if we want to?

gingerboy1912 · 18/10/2015 10:52

Marking place.

ThisIsntFunnyDean · 18/10/2015 11:30

Look To my shame I never put two and two together that Carter is Mark from Empire Records. But that voice... How did I miss it? Love that film!

ElderlyKoreanLady · 18/10/2015 14:05

card, people are discussing a TV show that's based around a comic series. The comics are inevitably going to end up part of the discussion. But that's not necessarily going to cause spoilers as the series diverges a lot from the comics, dropping and adding storylines and characters. Comic readers don't know what's coming and are allowed to speculate about that along with the rest of the fans.

I think most posters on this thread have done plenty to stay discrete. But even if they hadn't, an awful lot of tWD fans have read the comics. Perhaps it's more sensible to not read a discussion thread if you don't want to see any of that information. Or start a shiny new thread for those who want to stay away from comic info.

carbcraver · 18/10/2015 14:49

Ooohhhh not long now till ep 2!!!!

LookAtAllThesePhucksIGive · 18/10/2015 17:31

I thought that many threads ago but don't care now. In the comics Andrea is still alive, Judith is dead, Daryl, Sacha don't exist... The writers have said the series is loosely based on the comics. They have permission to do as they please with the characters.

ThisIsnt, Empire Records and Dutch for that matter are on Netflix. He looks nothing like he did back then. A receding hairline can really change a man. :o
