I kind of read a bit of a Harry Potter one and it totally wasn't my cup of tea for some reason Confused It may be because HP is a children's story.

Have you started reading A Twist of Fate yet Maddie?

MaddieMoo82 · 06/10/2015 22:07

Yes finished it. Was fab Smile struggled to put it down kelly. How is your FF story going?

Ilovelblue · 06/10/2015 22:10

Evening all. Pouring down here just now and there were some torrential showers earlier this afternoon.

Looks as if it's been quiet on here tonight. Wasn't it SPO with his brilliant stats who declared that Tuesdays were quiet posting nights?

Absolutely loving greenstuff's latest. You can just feel the romance starting to build. Great update from Lola too. Very spoiled with the ff today.

I am soooooo tired at the moment and I've no idea why. Fell asleep again during Holby. I always record it anyway so may need to go back and watch it again though the storylines aren't great at the moment.

Also sat through "From Darkness". Found it a bit long and drawn out to be honest. Has anyone else seen it yet?

Difficult early meeting tomorrow so need to get to bed at a reasonable time tonight (maybe one of the reasons why I'm so tired!).

kuiakaituhi · 06/10/2015 22:14

Just thinking after "Pan" about my favourite bad boys. Richard Armitage as Guy of Gisborne is my all time A Lister. All black leather and smouldering eyes. Would be interested in compiling a ratings list. Any suggestions?

Ilovelblue · 06/10/2015 22:18

I think kuia that woof is your woman for a list like that!

pixieg1rl · 06/10/2015 22:24

Well, as long as you like Lego men. This is woof's ideal.

kuiakaituhi · 06/10/2015 22:25

C'mon then woof.

cjwoofwoof · 06/10/2015 22:49

Hmm my list is very long indeed kuia but you'll be happy to know Richard Armitage does feature. Unfortunately my day has simply been too exciting as I plumped for living dangerously at the garden centre pensioners luncheon and opted for the soggy prawn baguette as it reminded me it's the nickname often applied to me by my numerous male admirers and I need my pit, but rest assured I'll crack on tomorrow with a special long list of suitable Lego shaped candidates. We'll let pix keep Keith Lemon on her own personal list along with Ronnie Corbett, as she unfortunately doesn't appreciate real beefcake Grin

Just catching up after another long day. I was going to say another awful Monday then realised it was Tuesday so it's been that bad. Lots of rain here today, there were rivers running down the road as I left work this evening and I had to leap across them umbrella in hand all Carol Kirkwood like - just needed Pasha to hold the brolly for me.

Sorry to hear about all the illness - I was struck down myself the week before last, beginning to wonder if this thread is catching or is it some sort of synchronised, empathetic illness akin to the menstrual cycles of nuns in convents if you get my drift (a weird but true phenomenon apparently)

Remake of The Dambusters - hadn't heard that. I always cry about the dog with the unfortunate non-PC name when that is re-run. Would be interesting but I wonder if they should do that. To quote Gareth Malone in The Naked Choir tonight - "Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should do it- Jurassic Park". How old is he? Wish they would stop remaking classic films and just discover a few more original stories. There are some fantastic real life tales out there.

RA as Guy of Gisborne - yes most definitely even if he was a little bit panto villain as well. Mentioned before but North and south even better and a bit of Spooks chucked in even the Vicar of Dibley's tottie. When's he going to be on TV again?

Series 3 - well we know what and who we'd like to be in it, don't we. Caught a brief few minutes of Eastenders last night and noticed that LT's character is pregnant. Looks like she's in it for the long haul and Stacey looked pretty P*off too - that's how we feel thinking of how long it might be before she comes back to us and reunions in Bath stand any chance of being a reality.

OK, although I might sound as if I've been drinking, I most definitely have't although I have consumed and inordinate amount of caffeine today and little else due to being somewhat under pressure and time constraints. Time to go now, so have a good day all and see you tomorrow in a virtual sense.

Richtea19 · 06/10/2015 23:25

Yes, yes to Richard Armitage. He was fab in Strike Back.

ilove I watched the Darkness program tonight with AnneMarie Duff. It was ok, bit slow and "arty". It's seems to be the rage filming new dramas at strange camera angles and artistic shots. Also what colour was her hair??? Maybe my TV but looked lime green! Can't see what the lovely James MacAvoy sees in her Grin

KellyHb · 06/10/2015 23:29

Glad you loved the book Maddie. When I finished it, I couldn't get the Paul character out of my head. He's soo lovely. Just a fab read wasn't it? I'll re-read it when I get a chance. Lucky Callie, I say!

Yes my favourite RA role has to be in North and South. 'Look Back At Me' was one of my favourite lines from it. And the railway scene at the end. So romantic.

Yes Maddie might well you ask about my FF. Its a non starter at the moment with poorly children going on and whatnot. I've done a couple of pages. But yes its a lot of fun writing smut. I won't call it QS because its got potential to be piss poor. Hmm

rhu if Stacey is pregnant in EE, then I think she should keep the cushion under her top a bit longer, jump in a car and drive over to OG UK set in Bath and film a couple of scenes and pretend its CJ's for filming there. Job done. Star

Hope your working days go okay tomorrow ilove & rhu. Lots of coffee is a great thing. Although I drink for more than I should. Brew

kuiakaituhi · 07/10/2015 03:33

I like RA when he's being badass,as in G of G. Bit too nice in North and South.
Re Peter Jackson. Has built ten replica planes for the movie. I gather he has changed the storyline and the dog is not there. Jackson has had a massive project building an interactive Gallipoli exhibition in Wellington. Gallipoli remembrance is almost a sacred thing to us Kiwis and to the Aussies too. Google and have a look. I saw the exhibition recently... Amazing! Sir PJ is a man of immense talent.
As for Tracey hopping over to Bath for said fait accompli... you're a spoilt sport Kelly. Where's the fun in that?

kuiakaituhi · 07/10/2015 03:37

Working on new chapter of my NZ and CJ story. Going back to army stuff soon.

KellyHb · 07/10/2015 07:33

Pics of BA in Episode 3 of Reign. Yumm!!

pixieg1rl · 07/10/2015 07:33

Now woof I think you're getting me confused with orph. Ronnie Barker was much more up my street. I'm practically a double for nurse Gladys Emmanuel and believe me, there was no stuttering as he leant me over Arkwright's counter to show me his fine collection of mop heads.

KellyHb · 07/10/2015 07:34

pixieg1rl · 07/10/2015 07:35

Costumes by DFS?

kuiakaituhi · 07/10/2015 07:37

So much better since they got rid of the pub curtains, Yummm, indeed!

KellyHb · 07/10/2015 07:58

Oo I'm liking the look of tanned and curly BA. He seems to be more toned than last series. Unless he's not wearing as much bulky costumes. Love the way hes looking at the girl sitting down. Gorgeous!!

kuia a Molly/Stacey trip to Bath is what I would like to happen in next series. Not saying it will unfortunately. We'll have to see Smile

MaddieMoo82 · 07/10/2015 07:59

Oh wow yum! Liking the gold ensemble! Wink

MaddieMoo82 · 07/10/2015 08:01

Your right though pixie, the patterns are a bit like my nans old armchair.

Richtea19 · 07/10/2015 08:17

He really does look more toned in these pictures and yes less bulky curtain! More grand house curtain opposed to pub curtain!

MaddieMoo82 · 07/10/2015 08:29

Maybe he's been working out ready for OG.
Been catching a bit of eastenders recently and LTs pregnancy and biopolar storyline is gonna be pretty big I think. Hopefully she'll have time to leave Martin fowler behind for a bit and pop to bath/brize norhton.

cjwoofwoof · 07/10/2015 08:56

Ooh I say fab pics kel above and beyond today. I like the way his outfit matches the scatter cushion and bedspread in pic3. Defo looking more honed or simply suits the shoulder pad design and gold brocade frivolity. I do wish the crown was a bit more masterful rather than Cinderella's castoff in pic 1, although I'm enjoying the straining kneecap begging to escape the tight leather trouser along with anything else that's boxed in

cjwoofwoof · 07/10/2015 08:58

Ooh ooh Hugh Jackman alert on BBC breakfast being interviewed about Blackbeard part. Quick!!!
