I blame paul for pam leaving. Pam was kinda trying to understand then paul comes in and rants and tips pam over the edge

Paul should be more understanding / he's gay and knows that people don't always 'fit' the norm

I think eastenders handled the storyline well

Took its time ..... But got there eventually

Wow! Love Christine, much better acting than Les, she looked and sounded really good. It really suits the actor!
I was shocked at how they'd written Paul's script. It's not how I thought he'd react.

Like everyone else I thought the subject was handled well tonight and Christine looked a lot better than I'd anticipated.

Something has just fallen into place....

Les's acting has always been so excruciatingly bad that it seemed strange especially as he is quite an established actor who has been in a lot of things.
I'm wondering now if it was all deliberate and a way of showing him as awkward in his own skin....because his acting as Christine was excellent and the best we've seen from him so far.

I'm also wondering if he could possibly be a cross dresser in real life as he carried himself so well and certainly didn't look a stranger to walking in heelsSmile

I actually thought that Eastenders was doing an interesting, well handled storyline until Paul barged in then it all became stupid drama and fake Les crying.

Seriously, Les kept this secret for 40 years, yet in the space of a week he's been found out twice. Lock the inside of the front door if you're doing your Christine dressing up! Maybe don't let visitors in the hallway if you're in your pants in the next room.

Phil is invincible. Even if he did die he'd just show up in 5 years when the writers run out of ideas and the panto offers had dried out.

I just think he's a good actor and perhaps researched the role by speaking to cross-dressers. I was really impressed by his body language as Christine and how he changed his voice.

He said the other day that Christine's voice was different. I thought it was going to be an over the top drag act voice but it was very well done. The voice suits Christine.

I liked Christine too. Is Pam really gone for good or will she be talked round eventually? I'll miss her if she's really gone. She was a good character for the most part.
