Gosh, I am late tonight. Not really a good idea to have friends round the night before going back to work.

We had blackberry and apple sponge pudding for dessert - not a patch on some of those gorgeous cakes in Vienna but there was nothing left so they must have enjoyed it.

Great update pixie - I couldn't resist reading it, though I should be asleep now. I won't be able to get up in the morning. Good job I have CJ shouting at me to put some bloody effort in at 7 am!

Urgh. Horrible nights sleep. DS was reliving his babyhood. Was up about 5 times in the night. ????Have a good first day back ilove. Glad you liked the update.

Sunny day today plus kids are having their breakfast being good as gold without me chasing them up to eat!

Looking forward to Doctor Foster tonight. Hope his marriage doesn't go too quickly downhill as I wouldn't mind seeing his pert posterior a few more times in action.

I've started listening to the OG soundtrack again, haven't watched an episode for months, still get shivers she I hear some of the songs! Mental!!!

Whether Mr Foster is with his wife or not, he appears to be getting plenty of action anyway but not sure if we'll see it or not Kelly.

Off to work now. Hope there aren't too many emails to deal with.

Hey all. Looking forward to doctor foster and hoping for some pert bare bum action too. Went to a baby sling hire group today to get a new sling for DS and was hoping there maybe a CJ lookalike there looking lovely with his newborn strapped to his chest (think there is a fan fic with this image ). But unfortunately not just lots of stressed and tired mums with screaming babies and toddlers none of which wanted to put in a sling need to lie in a dark room after that experience!!

pixie great update! I laughed at the podcast reference as dp is an avid listener of erudite podcasts (lots of science and history ones) but I too like the History of English one.

I expect woof's smuggled in a nail file for Manu to escape from his cell. Any guesses as to where she hid it??

Ooh maddie there's something very special about a hot man with a baby in a sling . I loved carrying youngest in his, he had really bad reflux and sling time was the only non projectile vomit time we had at one stage. Hope you find one you / DS like.

Crappy day here. Funeral this morning then trying to catch up with my never ending pile of work this afternoon. Despite that, have left early because life is just too bloody short!! Looking forward to doctor foster tonight too.

I think the hot man with a sling look really needs the hot man in the first instance. Many of the blokes round here fail to meet the initial 'hot' criteria, the sling isn't going to bump them up a notch in the attractiveness stakes. ????Thanks orphan, I'm missing my podcast listening time now I don't have the walk between nursery and work anymore. I was enjoying History of English, though the bloke could have done with an editor (much like myself)????

DS has been in a stretchy wrap sling since he was 3 days old... The pic is him 6 weeks ago but he has out grown this really so we are trying something new.

Oh and I can assure you there was no one looking like that at the group.
Not sure this guy is even real.... Baby carrying and putting the trash out??!!

My DH never carried ours in a sling ... Bad back .. Or some such excuse! I loved it! Both of mine were in it till they were well over a year old. Those were the days! Never saw any men like that though damn shame. That last one ... Carrying the baby and taking not rubbish out ... obviously just a posed shot!!!

We never went down the sling route with ours but Jen very much loving the guy in your pic with his cute bambino. He looks like someone famous but I can't think who.

Can't wait for Doctor Foster tonight either. I don't know if I'm watching it more for Bertie Carvel or the plot.

MrP never looked like that ever wearing a sling. I liked the stretchy wrap, it was only way I could do anything with DS when he was little.

maddie when we outgrew the stretch wrap we went on to the ergobaby (at about 5 months) and absolutely loved it, used it till he was almost 2. Everyone has their own preference but I loved the ergo
