How'd your train journey go pix? Going anywhere nice or was it work related?

Just work and back Kelly. I missed my train home so I had an hour to kill. Caught up on my reading (brilliant as ever BTW Rhu) and nearly finished writing a couple of chapters.

Thanks nickel that's good to know. Hes dosed up on calpol and gone to bed after being grumpy all afternoon. My boob has been out more than in today but I guess as long as I'm not doing it when's he 18 it will be ok

Good luck with the QS kelly I'm sure it will be fab and looking forward to it already. Am saving LL for a quiet day after loosing a whole day to reading her stuff when I first started maternity leave before having DS. Nothing got done and ended up rushing around 10 mins before DP got home to make it look like I hadn't been reading smut all day! Have got her book to read to and still lost in 'the learning curve'. Smut overdose.

Got home about an hour ago. Seems to have been a long day and lots of hanging around at the airport. A bit stressful too when I realised I had printed out the outward boarding passes twice and not the return ones. It didn't seem to be a problem but I envisaged us being stranded in Vienna!

Thank goodness I'm not at work tomorrow.

Looking forward to catching up on the ff but maybw my morning treat tomorrow.

Oh here is today's cake treat - the apple strudel.

I couldn't get away with breast feeding *maddie". It was far too painful. I take my hat off to mothers who do.

Glad you got back okay ilove. Fabulous looking cakes you've had too. Vienna looks like a beautiful place. I think I would like to go there more than ever now.

We could really have done with 4 nights not 3 but we saw most of what we wanted. Would perhaps have liked to do a bit of shopping but of the shops we saw, they weren't of the browsing sort: Gucci, Dior, Tiffany, Louis Vuitton etc. Not sure where the 'normal' shops were.

Need to ring the bank tomorrow to find out when I get my new bank card after the kerfuffle with somebody using it in the US to withdraw cash!

Now be honest ilove, did you go on a shopping spree in Dior then claim your card was stolen because that's exactly what I would do

Good luck with the QS kelly. I find the embarrassment lessens the more you write it, although I don't go back and read, so I'm probably just blocking the embarrassment out...

maddie hope little one is ok. I have the worst needle phobia, and have many times resorted to hiding outside in waiting room while DH deals with the business end - he then delivers screaming infant to me for feeding. Fair exchange, I feel...

Hope little one is feeling better today maddie. I hate injections, I'm getting worse the older I get, flu clinic at work soon... Dread!

ilove sounds like you had a marvellous time. I don't get the high end shops, such as Dior and the like. They have bouncers on the door, I can't imagine they have any action other than opening the door to customers. I should think their clientele aren't really the sort that would need bouncers, more like Sports Direct or JD Sports!

I went to see Baby Isobel after work yesterday. I know I'm biased but she is beautiful. What is it about the smell of babies???? My niece and her boyfriend make such a lovely couple. They are both living at home as its so hard these days to find a property. They should have enough for a deposit on a house by christmas. Her boyfriend was with her all the time in hospital all three days having been induced to labour, I really dont remember DH being there all the time for me!!

Ah thanks all. He was up at 1,2,3, and 5 this morning but seems fibe now and just drifting back off to sleep. DP was like 'did you have a bad night you look knackered?'.... Grrrr!
jen that sounds like the best idea but DP is worse than me and doesn't set foot in a doctors surgery unless he can help it.

Morning all.

Absolutely chucking it down here today. For some reason my three found it extremely funny to jump in as many puddles as they could, soaking their shoes and mine. What is it with kids and water.

When I was dropping twins off at nursery, there was a little boy absolutely hysterical when his mother left him. He was so bad it took 2 nursery workers to try and calm him down but he wasnt having any of it. Felt sorry for both teachers and the little one.

Thanks Jen. Going to write more tonight. I remember reading 'Involved' months ago thinking this is QS at its very best and can't believe I'm having a shot.

Ah how lovely visiting little Isobel rich. Such a gorgeous name too. I particularly love newborns little hands and noses. A few of my friends are renting as they're finding it really difficult to save for a deposit and would love their own home. Yes it's hard for young people these days.

Bizarrely I read somewhere last night that woofs Manu Bennett has been arrested in America for assault! There was a pic of him and yes, he does have something of a square head. Hope woofs not involved on some sort of a covert birthday mission or anything as she is away at the moment, isn't she?

Back to earth with a bump. Two loads of washing done and out on the line. Not sure if the sun will stay out or whether it will rain.

Sorry I can't oblige with any more Viennese cake photos but I've put three others of Vienna on for you! There were some amazing cafes and just wish we'd had time to sample more of them. Still, three in three days wasn't too bad. The Danube wasn't particularly blue, more green we thought.

Need to go to Sainsburys now and then sort out something for tea tonight as I have friends coming round.

Moving on today to Halifax, Nova Scotia. Sad to report have seen no handsome Mounties well they probably were just the bar for gauging handsomeness has been raised high I also tried to see if any of our Canadian hosts had seen Reign, but sadly not.

Highlight of my day has been an hour long meeting with the auditor. Over the next 6 months he's auditing pretty much most of what I do which is scary, but on the plus side he's gorgeous, funny and keeps on staring at my chest (there's plenty to stare at). He's got a lovely Lancashire accent, which is one of those accents I find really attractive. He's probably gay isn't he?

Bound to be pix, but if he's staring at your chest, maybe not?! Hmm .... Have got six months to find out ;)

Find out whereabouts in Lancashire he's from pixie (and how old he is)!

Meant to say before Richtea but not only were there bouncers on the door of these high-end shops, but one of them - and I can't remember which shop he was guarding - had a gun as well.

Well well pix. The men are like bees to honey when you're around. First the gymnastics guy offering you a school sleepover and now the auditor checking you out. 6 months of you getting to know his work credentials better sounds pretty pleasing.
